I am looking into Interactive Broker's API to see if it would be worth getting to begin to program custom scanning/monitoring/alert system tools specifically for day trading. Does anyone have familiarity with the IB API? Or have you used something different than has worked for you?

I don't have any information to help you with; just support! I'd just love to see a new scanner come out of BBT to go up against the other scanner companies.
