rinran 2 Posted May 8, 2020 Hello, Curious how the T&S price action works. If transactions are happening at the ask or above the ask, is that an indication the price might be going higher? With level 2, if you see heavy numbers on the ask side it's a bullish sign as far as I'm aware, does the same hold true for T&S? Cheers, Ry IF YOU FOUND MY COMMENT HELPFUL , PLEASE HEART IT , IT MEANS A LOT

In addition to the great info by Abeil i also suggest the following link/video which teaches the mechanism of Bid/Offer L2 and T&S. it is taught using Bookmap but can easily be translated into DAS once u understand the mechanics of how/why price moves.

mlestina 6 Posted August 29, 2020 Thanks for the video. I was wondering whether there is a link or video or book or whatever that explains the T&S tape, what the different colors mean, how to stratagize by reading the T&S tape, the different features available in setting up the tape, etc. Please mark me if I am wrong, but this seems to be missing for the most part from the books and the education center. For example, I understand that a colored entry on the T&S is a transaction at a price relative to a bid and ask on the order book, but I do not know whether it is a buy, a sell, whether the buyer or the seller is aggressive or passive (i.e., market vs limit vs stop order), etc. Where can I learn about this?
