Lesson Learned Today

I found out today that if you are attempting to Swing Trade and you get stopped out that day it counts towards the PTD rule. So I received a large margin call from TDAmeritrade.  I freaked out but realize that I am not going to be able to trade with them for awhile. I knew I was setting my stops too close. What a lesson to learn. LOL I get more sim time.

Yes they did. They just triggered the same day I placed the buy orders.  Happened over a couple days.

An update:

 

After a couple of days, TD responded to my query and offered to remove the PTD flag as a courtesy, since I am such a newb. (my words) .  So it ended well.
