Hi everyone!
I've been a buy and hold investor for 30 years, and have been really interested in starting to become more of a trader as my time horizon for retirement gets shorter and I have some capital to trade with. I pretty much fit the mold that I live in the Andrew lays out in his book....I've made a little money trading, but I feel like it's more luck, and I didn't give it the respect it deserves. I'm a math guy and screens make sense to me, so I've been good at getting into positions, but I am horrible when it comes to taking profits as FOMO sets in. I never thought about the psychology in trading. I was so grateful to find this site and the books as they have really opened my eyes, and I can get on track before I really did something stupid!
