Thanks, Ercilia182, but I messed up Friday afternoon doing a large size trade (10,000 shares of BBOX). I made the mistake of thinking if I traded MU at $52 for 400 shares then trading BBOX at $1.90 for 10,000 shares would be about right in terms of trading capital. HUGE mistake! Seeing the price movement going up/down so fast ($100 per sec for gain/loss for my position!), I got panicked and kept pressing the wrong buttons (buying instead of selling!) in the montage window. And I ended up with a loss of -$1,480 with BBOX in less than few minutes! Guess that is exactly what SIM is for, learning from mistakes without losing real money.
This morning I traded 4 stocks with a total gain of +$364 for the day so I am less discouraged. MU (400 shares) +$50 (2 tickets), BBOX (2,000 shares) +$120 (3 tickets), TWTR (400 shares) +$44 (2 tickets), GRPN (hit the touchpad of my laptop twice to wake up the display and accidentally bought extra 4,000 shares so the total was 6,000 shares) +$150 (5 tickets)
My goal for this week is to slowly recover the loss from last Friday.
Hi Abiel, I would like to apology that I am not exactly following the format you have set to do SIM recaps in this thread. I am still trying to figure out a good and efficient way to document my SIM process. Doing videos or even doing screenshots is a bit tedious and I found writing is much easier to express my thoughts/insight etc.
Thanks all!
