scripts for shorting in ssr mode?

Are you in sim or live? And if live, who is your broker?

I'm with IB and use the standard shorting hotkey. No issues getting filled on an uptick:

ROUTE=SMRTL;Price=Bid-0.05;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send

thanks for the reply Robert. Im in sim using das trader pro. Question, how does that script know how many shares im wanting to short. id like to make hotkeys in my stream deck, for example, one key would be short 100 shares in ssr mode, then 200 shares so on and so on.  the below photo is my short window which only works when its not in ssr mode. im wanting to make another just like it but for ssr mode.

How come you're shorting at BID+0.10? This makes it very difficult to get filled--even for non-SSR stocks. Most people are shorting at BID minus 0.02 to 0.10. Even then your order may get skipped if the SSR stock doesn't give an uptick before your price limit is reached.

For defining number of shares, add the bold command below.

ROUTE=SMRTL;SHARE=50, Price=Bid-0.05;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send

No worries 

Try shorting SSR stocks with your normal hotkeys. They should work fine in simulator. When you go live, you may need a different hotkey depending on your broker.

I'm having a similar issue that appeared around a month ago. I have been using the same montage buttons corresponding to the hotkey commands.

E.g. with ROUTE=SMRTL;Price=Bid-0.05;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send; as the script. I get an error when trying to short SSR stocks.

Thoughts on what might have changed? This used to work fine on SSR.

your script is minus 5 cent. that should be a plus cause you have to buy on an uptick

try this     ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=Bid+.01;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send
