US Currency changing in my DAS Platform

This is a question probably best for the Canadian Traders, using Interactive Brokers and the DAS Platform.

I'm trading in US funds and in DAS its listed as US$.

However, for some reason, as the US dollar fluctuates, my balance changes.   When the US dollar drops , my balance drops.  

 I spoke to Interactive Brokers about this, and they said this was something I needed to resolve within the DAS Platform.  

I am hoping someone can assist me with this.

To my knowledge, there´s no settings in DAS related to currencies,  the balance showed by DAS comes from your broker. I'm with IB US, account in USD and my balance in DAS changes only due to my trading and commissions. You balance in DAS should not fluctuate as USD does. in your IB platform > Settings > Account Settings make sure Base Currency is set to USD.
