Carlos' Das Video and Use withe Andrew's File

Been on simulator for a few week's and  love Carlos' video about how to set up the Das windows. But rather than hitting Clear Desktop, I chose to start with Andrew's file, and close all windows except the Montage.  I did so because I liked the button's on Andrew's Montage, i.e. "Buy @ Ask + 5 cents".  But now, when I click the Trades dropdown, and then Accounts, Positions or anything thing else under Trades, no new windows pop up -  it doesn't allow me to add these windows.

Any ideas - am I doing something stupid?

When creating your layout, DuplicateWindow is your friend. See image below.

Put this in your hotkeys, select the window you want to duplicate, then Ctrl+D to duplicate.

Nice! I did not know you can do a hotkey for that.

I actually ended up starting with Andrew's file, put the Windows in Cascade mode, and then closed all windows except for the Montage (including the windows that were open, but not visible on my monitor, that was my issue).  Then, I followed Carlos' video, and got all windows set exactly as I wanted.  Thanks.

Carlos, one thing I noticed on your video is that your windows fit better on your screen than on mine. I’m using the Acer K242HYL monitors that Andrew mentioned in his first book. What display settings would you recommend for these monitors?

Hey I am using ASUS 23 inch monitors with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. You have different monitors so the recommended resolution could be slight different than mine. 

My suggestion is keep the recommended resolution of your monitor and you might need to manually adjust things to get them to fit they way you like by adjusting the windows and font sizes as well. Hope this helps. Send us a screenshot, if there is any way we can help let us know.

Hey Carlos, thanks for the video for setting up DAS Pro.  I only could find the 1st video, are there more?  I am trying to set up a live DAS account and really like how thoroughly you process the content.
