VWAP Strategy

It was my first day of DAS Simulate. It's quite clear that vel is too low to entry.

Can anyone give more explanation in this regard?

Shane, looks like you were trying for a VWAP False Breakout? 3PM is pretty late in the day for that strategy; it normally occurs in the morning (usually after 10 to 10:30 AM) . You didn't do anything wrong--that was a great entry for a short. It just didn't work out.

 

Considering that the stock lost VWAP once and recovered, it was 'hugging' the level and didn't really show any signs of losing it. As you can see from the chart, it was doing waves around VWAP and couldn't really break free in any direction. Something to consider for the future. Cheers.
