FINRA removed PDT Rule, SEC to follow suit.

Hello fellow Daytraders,

Finra removed last week the PDT rule from $25k to $2k, this has been approved and is now on the desk of the SEC who usually just follows suit what FINRA folks decided.

Brokers will be allowed to impose their own rules but history learned me that they will just use the FINRA minimums. So you will be able to daytrade with 2k instead of 25k

This is going to be very interesting 🙂

Enjoy!

Sure will! I imagine a wave of retail traders will swoop in after the brokers have a chance to actually roll out all their new policies in what... maybe 6-8 months?

Best for new traders like me to practice up so we're ready when the new volume (and probably volatility) hits!
