Share=BP calculation in Hotkeys

Beware!

A recent DAS update changed the way the Share=BP works in the HotKeys.

Previously scripts such as Share=BP*.5/Ask or Share=BP*.5/Price would give the correct number of shares.  Since the function of Share=BP changed, the default calculation for Share=BP*.5 is ACTUALLY Share=BP*.5/Price.  This means that if you add something like "/Ask" or even "/Price" at the end, ( i.e. Share=BP*.5/Price ) the ACTUAL calculation is Share=BP*.5/Price/Ask or Share=BP*.5/Price/Price.

This change put me in a strange place where I had a 12 share position when I was expecting a 1200 share position.

If you want to circumvent the way this works, you need to flip the calculation around so that it would say Share=BP/Ask*.5.  This seems to cause the HotKey calculation to NOT automatically stick "/Price" in there.

Thank you for this information. In which version of DAS did the changes occur?

I'm not sure.  I discovered it when I loaded up some of my old hotkeys from way back.

Regarding Replay Mode, does anyone have any information on why the equalized risk per trade hotkey is not sending the stop and profit target orders?

I could be wrong but Kyle mentioned some of the functionality does not work in replay mode.
