TIER setting in L2 config in DAS

In DAS trader pro, there's a 'Tier' config in L2. Anyone know what it is for and what the value of 100 mean in there? Thanks.

how many price levels it returns. If you put 1 for example then you'd only get 1 line on your L2, I used to set it at 150.

So, in that config, I set L2 to 1 but left INET to 100, when I was looking at TSLA. I did see the levels shrink a bit but not too much. I thought INET is for NSDQ listed stks and ARCA for NYSE. What does L2 mean here then and why would the levels shrink at all for TSLA if INET should cover the order book for it?

BTW, do tickers still get traded on IEX?

I haven't looked into it that closely but I don't think it's as clean cut as that. Personally I'm not really too bothered about which exchange trades what as long as I can see it. I use bookmap where it doesn't differentiate anyway and also I always seem to have more on that than is shown in DAS so it appears even with those exchanges DAS doesn't have everything.

However, if you're curious, on DAS there's tabs below the L2 prices for the different exchanges you see. You can click across them and see what levels are on each exchange. The main one you look at is just combining them all basically.
