Searching for traders who utilize or want to expand knowledge of the ICT / SMC Concepts as taught in the online 12 mth course by Mike. (Core Content - Month 01 to Month 12 in playlist on YT website)

I have been using these concepts and am looking for like minded traders who may want to discuss and apply ICT / SMC knowledge to current markets.

The full course is available on YouTube is very comprehensive and is about  "12 mths".    Can be less if you push through it.

Wht I love abt ICT concepts it allows a trader to read and plan ahead bar-by-bar on every timeframe.   Select only one or two of the many methods/arrays and u have an easy to read / dev trade plan.  Through the Silver Bullet Setup and u can be a regular winner.

 

You tell me which PD Array u use ?  Wht problems u have with ICT ? Wht u LOVE abt these concepts ?

The SILVER BULLET setup also works on individual tickers/stocks........just watch from 10AM EST.  I personally trade tht setup on stocks only when inline with SPY/QQQ.

hi Alister...I've been learning ICT for the past year with futures. In my opinion it the most accurate take on the control of algo's of the market. There is just so much information these days compared to 1 year ago. He has just so many models but I agree the Silver Bullet is a good one. Also the TGIF is very interesting. Happy to chat more.

Agree its alot of info......my mistake was that I tried to learn it ALL.   After a few mths and listening to ICT I focused on just trading 3 PD Arrays only.  In addition I focused the following:

1.   3  of the PD Arrays......FVG/IFVG, BB, OB

2. DOL.....Draw on Liquidity i.e. Bias for the day or week or month

3. SMT on small TF for entry confirmation.......SMT on larger TFs for bias confluence

4. CSD, Something he does not teach publicly......Change In Sate of Delivery

 

Here is my trade plan for any ICT trade tht I am going to take.........

 

TRADE PLAN for all ICT Trades.
============================

- Identify and Anticipate the next WEEKLY candle to form after Sunday using CRT
- Identify M/W/D** DOL**  (4H, 1H for intra-day) utilize Inter Mkts, ** MMXM**,  CRT, DR's, IPDA targets.
- Check Economic Calendar Day for RED book events for week and apply potential PROFILES
- Label** HTF POI zones**, e.g. 4-Hour or Daily or Weekly or Monthly
- Wait For Opposing Price Delivery (signal candle, PO3, Judas Swing, Liquidity Grab, or Retracement)
- Wait for valid Macro Open Time,  e.g. 9:50 to 10:10  or 1:20 to 1:40  and use QTs and 90 min cycle
- Wait For CSD/IFVG/MSS/FVG** + SMT + Displacement** in Direction of DOL (on 60M, 15M,  5M, 1M)
- Find solitary FVG/IFVG/OB/BB with CE In **Displacement Price Swing** for entry/pyramid
- Observe Held BID/OFFER price in RDRB/FVG/IFVG/OB/BB zone 
- STOP behind FVG+1 candle or OB or BB or the held BID/OFFER
- Consult **SMT** for supporting divergence on any of the 5M, 15M, or 60M charts
- Enter In 3-4 am, 9:45-11 am, or 2-3 pm for Symbols aligned with Indices & with an RVOL over 70%

**NOTES:**
-Watch KRP....Key Reference Points
-Ensure market is SYMMETRICAL
-SIGNAL TF is 15M/60M, while ENTRY TF is 1M
-Watch for 50% fib consolidation of each TF **Dealing Range**.......external/internal
-Key Candle/Key Leg/2.0 - 2.5 Std Deviation with confluence for a target 
-Key Leg broken with** DISPLACEMENT**, look for a big push
-Weekly Profiles and apply to each day of the week. e.g. When MON / TUE is high of the week
-**ADD** after a UP CLOSE/DOWN CLOSE candle forms depending on the trend being traded.

 

I love the reading of the candles bar by bar (he calls it the tape) and finding a confirmation from that.

Now ICT is not the best teacher, damn good trader, so sometimes it is better to visit some of his charter students youtube sites for shorter lessons on the same topic.  they will explain a topic in 10 mins while he takes 70min.

 

If u dont understand any of his lessons........just ask here and I will point you to another vid/ICT Student who explained it better.  I have a list of many on different topics.

BTW.....u asked abt SUPPLY/DEMAND (aka the orders).....SMC is advanced supply/demand as SMC also includes imbalances.  You need to consider the job or role of the Market Makers.  The MM have a job which they are contracted to do everyday.......they MUST make the market efficient.  Thts JOB #1 for them. So in addition to the supply/demad, the market needs to efficient.  They, the MM, must be able to balance the market every day, week, month quarter and year.

FVG are imbalances while orders or pools of liquidity are behind isolated wicks. Remember that when u watch a chart.

ICT has now started to release every detail of his 12 models which were for Charter Members only.   Since Xmas 2023 they have been posted for free on his YouTube channel.  Pls note Model 6 & 7 are the most crucial.  To date he has released models 1 - 3.

 

U need to understand the concepts before attempting to execute on the 12 models/setups......very important.........

Quick note to potential ICT / SMC traders.    A chart consists of TIME and PRICE......most traders only study PRICE, but TIME is more important.  Tht is to say TIME of the DAY is important.

MACRO times are to be studied...........for a deep dive pls pls pls, study QUARTERLY THEROY down to the 90min cycles.

 

Additional content to be understood is CRT which is CANDLE RANGE THEROY.   All the above can be found on free YOUTube.    Any question,  just post here in this thread.

I have been using SMC/ ICT since the start of the year on Futures- MES and MNQ on Ninja. Dropped DASTRADER and saved a lot of money per month. Only pay $16 for Ninja. I follow on Youtube- Casper, Ttrades and Smart Risk.

Great to hear from another SMC/ICT trader.   I really like TTrades content he is str8 to the point.  I have watched a few of Casper but did not get much from really indepth content.    Looked at Smart Risk just now........I have not watched many of these.........I will subscribe.
