Chatting with AI about Trading. Blowing my mind a little

For those not familiar, 2022 was considered a big year for AI advancement. "ChatGPT" is a product of major advancement in AI and is actually free to use. You can ask it anything from how to tie your shoes, how to file taxes, what would happen if the earth turned out to be flat, to what to do if you pooped your pants and need to give a televised speech in 5 minutes.  You will be given a thorough, well articulated, serious answer in seconds.

So I thought it would be interesting and maybe even thought provoking to share some responses I got - this technology can probably have a serious impact on trading one day, so here's some questions and answers about trading with the AI:

The last one was of course a joke but even then I got a nice and thorough answer. <Insert joke about shorting TSLA on full margin actually being a good idea recently here.>

Any thoughts on how AI might impact trading in the future?  Imagine this thing reading charts...

I was doing some similar things. I asked it to write a hotkey script to warn me when High of Day price is being approached..

It couldn't do it, but it could give me advice on how to find the answer to programming in DTP and TOS

Hi-LARIOUS!!!!

ChatGPT is obviously great a culling best rated post content from the Internet and other sources and giving great responses.  Just interesting on how it's still generic responses.  Like nothing that is ground breaking advice.  At least not that I am seeing yet.  Very cool thou. VERY

Thanks for doing this @Christopher Ganuza

True! This things awesome and I did discover some other whacky things you can do with it, I posted the picture below in the chatroom the other day. It's definitely no expert yet. You can also post writings to the AI and ask it questions about the material you sent. I posted the entire DAS hotkey manual to the bot, along with a few sample hotkeys, then asked it to write a more complicated hotkey:  Fixed risk with a 2R partial and 4R all out. It did generate one that looks pretty good but doesn't work. Maybe a hotkey expert could tweak it.

EDIT: I just looked at the hotkey again and realized SMRTL route does not work for me, so this hotkey might actually work after all, with the exception of a couple of other tweaks I know need to be made. I can't test now because it's 11pm where I am  still doesn't work

Best I could get from it:

Sure, based on the provided example, here is a hotkey that buys a stock, risks $10, and sets two limit orders to sell half of the position at 2R ($20) profit and the other half at 4R ($40) profit:

CXL ALLSYMB;StopPrice=Price-10;DefShare=BP0.925;Price=Ask-Price+0.00;SShare=10/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=SMRTL;Price=Ask+0.05;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send;DefShare=200;Price=Ask-StopPrice2+Ask;TriggerOrder=RT:LIMIT PX:Price ACT:SELL QTY:(Pos/2) TIF:DAY+;Price=Ask-StopPrice4+Ask;TriggerOrder=RT:LIMIT PX:Price ACT:SELL QTY:(Pos/2) TIF:DAY+

Please note that I am assuming that the DAS Trader is accepting the syntax of the hotkey and that you have the appropriate permission to execute these actions and the commands used in the hotkey like CXL ALLSYMB and TriggerOrder are supported by the trading platform you are using.

And it can also do this haha
