Camarilla Pivots - Trading Buddy

Hi All,

I am looking to form a peer group with other traders that utilize the Camarilla Pivots framework in their trading.  I've been trading for a couple years, and have really resonated with the information Thor teaches with the Cams and VPA.  It helps me to see the bigger picture when I look to initiate a trade (instead of an isolated setup).

My results are currently between breakeven to oh-so-slightly positive.

I am in the same boat, although I am a newer trader and currently building up my trading framework. Thor's approach to trading along with my own reading on VPA and Camarilla Pivots has really helped me find my system that works best and resonates well with me. He has helped me tremendously on my journey. I have identified my own weakness which tend to be myself more than anything so a peer group centered around the Cam pivots/VPA system who help hold each other accountable and learn from one another is exactly what I have been looking for.

Hi Ryan, Giancario,

It's the same for me, I read Andrews book in 2021, was playing about a bit in the sandbox on TWS. Then February this year I started with DAS. studied all the strategies from BBT, but was always extremely interested in Thors pivots.

I'm still in the sandbox, only went live once in April 2 weeks trying ORB's but ended up losing a $200. 

Begin of September I finished Thors last videos and a penny dropped, at the moment I'm getting mostly 4R+ a day ( sometimes 8-10R), but it is my openings which are bad I seem to lose the first 3-4 trades and then I catch a nice S3-R3 or and R4,S4 breakout.

I would gladly join your posse and reduce my losing trades at the openings.

Also can't wait for Thors book to come out.

I just found this post on the forum.

I've always been working off Thors old pivot cheat sheet, and I was waiting for this one because it is a lot clearer.

I knew it was going to be in his book, didn't realise he posted it in the Room drive.

Hey Giancarlo and Christopher,

It sounds like we're all in a similar boat!  I've never been part of a peer group, but was thinking it'd be helpful to share trades we took at the end of the day and the thought process behind the trades. Both to stay accountable for our trading and to provide each other feedback.  

I don't use Discord, but have heard it's a good way of interacting.  Perhaps we could connect that way.
