How was it when you begun with day trading?

Hello, my name is Maria and I am trying to figure out whether day trading could be for me. I worked in Investment Banking up to recently, when our second child was born and I am trying to figure out a career that would be more compatible with having a family. I would like to talk to somebody who started with day trading 1 to 3 years ago in order to better understand what to expect in the first months/years. I have watched most of the videos here but I think I would benefit a lot from talking to somebody who was in my shoes recently. Many thanks.
