Looking for a trading buddy or two for voice chat 8:30am Est to 11:30am

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for one or two people to voice chat with while trading for mutual accountability and support. I don't have anyone to discuss trading with in my personal life and really don't get a lot out of online discussions through text. Having a couple of people to trade and talk with while trading like the moderators do in the chatroom would be awesome.

I've been swapping back and forth between Live and Sim for about a year and a half now. I am still working on being consistantly profitable. I'm in a boom/bust cycle and am about -7k down overall in my trading. My strategies aren't really the problem, it's my behavior. I can pin all those losses on about 10 trading days out of the last year and a half. It doesn't matter if you have a really high win rate if you don't stop out every time on your losing trades. Having a person or two to keep me accountable to my risk would be a great help. Obviously, I would do the same in return.

I was thinking of using Zoom chat, but if someone else has a better idea, I'm open to it. I am generally at the computer every day the market is open between 8 am to 11:30 am EST. My strategies don't usually come up till about 20 minutes into the market, so I really don't trade the open much. That's why I'm at the computer till 11:30 or so.

I'd be happy to join you in a voice chat group for accountability and support. I'm pretty much in the same situation as you, I don't really have anyone to discuss trading with and I've also been swapping back and forth between Live and sim for about 2 years without reaching consistency. 

If you say that your behaviour is the issue, then mine is the strategy itself. I've gone through tons of theory but I couldn't quite stick to a trading system that works well for me. Now with a little bit of experience, I'm working on applying everything I've learned and putting together a system that I can keep improving over time. In that regard, I also need accountability in sticking with the process and not starting to chase random trades and setups haphazardly. 

If you're interested I'm okay with any kind of chatting software, including Zoom, so just send me a private message here with whatever contact details you'd like to use (email or whatever) and we'll get to knowing each other a little better.

Hi,

I am also looking for someone to be a trading partner, have been with BBT since August of 2020, Have lost about 8,000 in very short timeframes, and I keep going back to sim.  My problem is almost all psychological, i.e. FOMO, overtrading, etc.  

I am available for voice or text chat.
