Any Toronto based traders?

I'm leaving my job come October to day trade full time. I've been at it for a little over a year part time. I trade common stocks and am technical analysis based. I look at the daily chart for a bias, then 60 minute for a pattern and then I execute on the 1/5 minute charts. I like getting in early on trades and try to hold the trend. I'm currently a break even trader and am not looking to use trading as a source of income for at least another year or two (I've saved a money). Long story short I'd love to meet like minded traders in the area. We'd keep each other accountable, excel together and it'd be nice to have someone to talk to about this stuff.

Hey Moe, I'm cheering for u to hit ur goal in pursuing trading as ur long term career.  I always love networking and meeting people with similar interests/passions as myself. I am located in the GTA (Whitby specifically).  I know another member who I introduced to BBT (Palasche in the chat) who is in T.O. and from what I've gathered, there are quite a few others local to us.  As restrictions start to losen up and people get more comfortable around others/strangers (that includes myself slowly warming to the idea of gatherings), I would love to have a meet someone in the GTA.  There was one done near the beaches last summer that I woulda loved to go to but I erred on the side of caution instead of going (no offense to those that attended it).  I know Peter (mod) was there and if I recall, Brian Pezim also.  It looked like it was a lot of fun, so a meetup of some sort is def on my list of things to do.  It doesn't have to be formal.  A casual one to start would be nice.  Keep in touch and lets def make something happen in the near future 👍

Hey AJ, 

Thanks for replying to my post. I'm definitely down to have a meet up once restrictions do loosen up.  That'd be a lot of fun and we can invite other traders such as Palasche and Sabi_a.  We'll plan it for later this summer if you're comfortable. As for now I'm interested in having a group of people to discuss trading ideas, review trades, and to keep each other accountable.  If you are interested we can have a group chat and maybe even have video calls where we can share screens and talk about trading ideas. Let me know if youre interested.
