U.K. - recommended broker?

Hi - I’ve tried quite a few brokers, but not found an ‘ideal’ one - any recommendations?

- FreeTrade - WAY too basic

- Trading212 - 4 months later, still not approved

- Degiro - ‘lost’ my deposit of £1500, still chasing them

- IBKR - godawful UX

- Capital.con - CFDs only

- IG - maybe? Still some confusingly inconsistent terminology, but seems ok (after £20 for first 2 trades)

I’m currently using TradingView linked to TradeStation - if you trade ONLY via TV then they use U.S. pricing which is commission free - U.S. rules apply though so PDT rules and T+2 

Rumour is IG is going to be integrated with TV which I’d leap on in a heartbeat

anyone have a better option in the meantime?

I was similar, floating around various brokers and trading platforms for a time.
 

Once I had decided I wanted to give it a proper go and on the US market opposed to UK market, I ended going with CMEG (low commissions with BBT discount code) and going through DAS as many of the traders on here do.
 

Both of which have turned out to be the easiest ones to use and understand for me. Only thing it does lack is replay functionality (included in price, you would have to get from DAS separately) although if you can trade SIM in market hours it isn’t too much of an issue
