TOS Active Trader Buttons

Hello,

 

I am trying to set up my TD Ameritrade TOS to use it for day trading. I am not sure which buttons would be best to use because I don't always want to buy/sell market due to poor fills. Please advise what buttons you would use for going long and shorting stocks. I am trying to follow Andrew's advice to use marketable limit orders but I know TOS doesn't support this. Thank you!
