Enable P/L in Chart DAS

Good evening traders!

I had a question about one of the platforms supposed features.

If go to the:

Main Window > Setup > Other Configuration

Once into the "Other Configuration" window...

Look at the left side and you will see several checkboxes.

Three checkboxes down you will see an option:

"Enable P/L in chart - show P/L lines in chart window."

Whenever I have checked this, I have never seen any change in how my P&L is displayed and certainly I have not seen it displayed in any of my chart windows.

Does anyone know how to use this?

Or is this a loose end from the DAS programming developers?

Hopefully this isn't somewhere else in the forums already.

Thanks guys!

It's not what you think unfortunately... It's a pretty useless feature in my opinion. It simply shows how your unrealized P&L is progressing over time. Why you would want to know this 🤷‍♂️

You click on the Title Bar of a chart and type !ACCOUNT.UNREAL (Account is your account number). The chart below shows that I was down about $10, but in the 6th minute I was back up to $1.60!

I'm guessing you were hoping to see profit targets on the ticker you were trading... Like seeing where 2R, 3R, etc. is at based on an entry and stop? Been asking for that for over a year 🙄

Justin,

I also notice that if you close the platform it resets the unrealized chart.

I suppose it could be entertaining for recording my trades, but it would probably be pretty distracting at the same time.

Thanks for the reply!
