DAS Problem - Exceeded maximum number of global trendlines

Recommended Posts

VladMD

Hello BBT,

I was just trying to mark a daily level and got this error in DAS, saying "Exceeded maximum number of global trend lines. Please remove some lines first".

I obviously did what it said, looked through a lot of my common or recent tickers traded and removed all lines, but I still get this error. Been using DAS for over 2 years now and this never happened. Did anyone else get this error and was able to fix it?

Thank you for taking the time,

Vlad

Just delete the "GlobalTrendline.dat" file in C:\DAS Trader Pro. This will delete all your previous Global trend lines saved.

That did the trick. Thank you!

Tht works too, but u can go to Settings --->  Trading Setup  ---> Global Trend Lines Limit  --->  enter all 99999999999999s

DAS support advised that the number is "limitless" was the word used.

This works if you have DAS 5.6 or higher... It wasn't an option in 5.5 and below, but with 5.5 and below, this message didn't exist either.

Thanks a lot! That saved me some future headaches.
