Journaling trades (scaling in and out)

Sadly I do not journal my trades but it's the number one thing on my list to do to improve my trading.

So the one thing I am really stuck on , is how to journal trades that are scaled in and out of.

Most here that are daytrading, are doing multiple entries and exits scaling in and out.

With day trading, I am thinking the best way to do this, is one trade, and just list the avg price bought, avg sold and add up the shares.

But in Swing Trading, which I do alot of, how do most people here journal this? Sometimes I scale in 3 times and out twice.

Sometimes I am holding a core position for weeks and during those weeks , scaling in and out every week.

This is starting to give me a headache thinking about how to journal this.

I would love to hear everyones thoughts, on both daytrading and swingtrading stratgies for handling this data.
