Ninja Trader 8

Hi,

I'm looking for an alternative of DAS as I feel that $165 per month is a bit pricy for me. Anyone here tried Ninja Trader 8? It seems to be quite powerful and it's quite a bit cheaper than DAS. 

I would appreciate it if anyone can share their experience using Ninja Trader 8.

We pay the premium for DAS Trader, because it's an excellent tool for fast paced day trading, and is integrated with IB. If you're with IB, you can use their own platform, TWS, but it doesn't have the hotkey scripting capability that DAS does, and it isn't collocated with the NASDAQ server like DAS is. That being said, many people have been successful using it for day trading. TOS for TDAmeritrade has issues with fill speed from what I understand...If you don't yet have a brokerage, and plan to be in the sim for at least three more months, you can get DAS through BBT for $100 a month and get the equivalent of the $165 month package, but you must pay for the three months up front and cannot get a refund after it has been activated. If you go with CMEG, they have their own branded version of DAS, and there may be a discounted price with a certain amount of trading, but I'm not sure.
