CMEG Route Used on 10/08

I was going over my detailed statement from CMEG this weekend and on Friday (10/08) the route "PDQ" was used multiple times resulting in the BBT discount on commissions to not be applied. I have not changed my hot keys on DAS so I do not know how or why this happened. I have emailed them asking for a explanation. For the fellow CMEG users on here, you might want to check your detailed transactions on Friday.

I had the same thing on my statement.  Thank you for noticing this.  I will also email CMEG.

I had the same issue, just sent an email with a Detailed Report showing the differences between a normal day and Friday with the changed route.

Looks as if it was resolved, both Friday and yesterday were set back no normal commissions.

Same on mine also. On a side note, I can't begin to describe how grateful I am that BBT was able to negotiate our discount rate. What a huge difference it makes.

I think when this has happened in the past, CMEG has refunded the overcharge when LAMP wasn't used. That being said, I'm not a CMEG user so I can't say that from personal experience, just what I've seen in the chatroom from other members.

On Monday Oct. 20, I received a message on my trading platform from CMEG that said the normal LIMIT route is under maintenance and to use ARCAL until the maintenance is complete. What they didn't mention is that trading using that route will prevent the user from getting the BBT discounted commission rate. I took a few trades, made only 75 and paid 98 in commission. Since I partial in and out of trades, I got killed. I would have never traded at 3.95x2 per trade if I knew that was the case. I wrote an email back to CMEG to let them know I didn't appreciate that and don't feel I can trust them any longer. According to their message, it seemed like they were trying to improve my trading experience, but taking away a discounted route and offering only a full price one without informing me was wrong in my opinion. Be careful.

Sorry that happened. I got the same message from them. Instead of using the ARCAL route, I switched to using MARKET and am still getting the discount. I see your post is about 24 hours old so maybe you made the change already, but if not then try changing your keys to MARKET.
