A Trade occurred after I closed DAS

Dear BBT members,

This is my first time posting a question. Hope someone can help.

I found out about "Rick Control" function in DAS and put $30 max loss per day 3 days ago. It's been working great and I liked that it made me stop at my max loss.

I hit that max loss today around 11:43AM so I turned off DAS and went to work. I have a habit of saving "Default Desktop" when I exist so I did. (I can see the default.dsk file is stamped at 8:44AM)

Then I received daily report from IB and surprised that I have an open position with ROKU 7 shares!

I opened DAS again and saw LONG at 12:18:44pm. My DAS wasn't even on.

Does anybody know what happened here?

Here's last 3 transactions with ROKU. Last trade I did was shoring 7 shares then stopped out. That triggered the max loss and I was not able to trade anymore.

Hey @no1snapehead, welcome to the forum!

Hard to say what happened without looking at the log. Happy to try and decipher it for you if you PM it to me (C:\DASTrader DEMO\LOG).

That being said, with the fact that you think it might have ignored your risk control as well, it might be best to ask DAS Support (https://dastrader.com/#contact)

Update:  somehow, (I have no idea how)  "replace" order was sent and filled later time. Since it was sent before the max. loss hit, it was filled later.

I am pretty sure I did not see any pending orders but I could be wrong. Thankfully I was able to cover with a small profit this morning. (phew)

I learned my lesson. Making sure there is no pending orders in DAS and IB before I close for the day.
