Tianrui Peng 0 Posted June 30, 2020 Hi fellow bear bull traders,  This might be a bit off topic, but I'm curious how other traders in this community is managing your savings that are not used for day trading? What are the stocks/ETF/bonds you guys hold long-term for passive growth?  My current issue is my having some saving but I don't want to use all of them for day trading because I'm still learning, and so I'm looking into other ways to invest. I tried search online, but there are so many  trolls and spams online. But I find bear bull trader such a great community with so many genuine and smart people. So I figure I could ask here and see what other members are doing. Here are some common options: 1. put money into ETF for passive growth such as SPY, QQQ 2. DIY the allocation yourself and aiming for a specific allocation with regular re-balancing. For example like some percentage of bond, some percentage of large/medium/small caps, and some percentage split of sectors. 3. use some managing services such as betterment 4. real state 5. other financial products that are not listed  Currently, I'm thinking about picking option 1 or 2, but not sure what would be a good ETF to hold long-term other than SPY, sector ETFs like XLK/XLE. Please let me know if you have any suggestion for ETF or other methods. Thanks a lot! Hopefully we can all keep it green together!
