Adding Hotkeys to Montage on new tabs!

Hi Everyone, I am out of town and dont have access to multiple monitors so already created different tabs on Das, lower left corner, next to Default! in new tabs I am not able to import Andrew Hotkeys! any advise?

Ahura, please try the following:

1. In your first tab, right-click the Montage title bar

2. Click Save as Default on the right

3. In the new tab, add a Montage (menu Trade > Montage)

4. Right-click the new montage

5. Click Load Default

I've never even noticed that additional tabs feature. Great to be able to use when limited to a single monitor only (when travelling, etc.). Thanks to the forum for another good tip!

Thanks, Ahura, for discovering a bug within this solution and informing DAS Support.

*in my new tab I want to load default setting(hotkeys…) into montage, how Can I do that, I saved the setting as default on montage on my default tab and then in my new tam in montage did load default…..what happens it movesin my montage from default tab to my new!!!! How can I load default setting….?

 

DAS reply:

Unfortunately that is an issue that has been brought up to the developers. I have been informed that it has been resolved and it will be released in the next upgrade due out soon.

I had that same issue, but found that after selecting "load default" on the new montage, then hitting "cancel" instead of "commit" that the montage actually stays there in the new tab, rather than going back to the default tab. Try that to see if it works until the bug fix is released.

I had no luck with that workaround, Anders.

 

Load from Default was recently fixed in a previous release. It used to make all new montages "stuck" to the default. Looks like they fixed that but broke this tab feature in the process :)

I've been playing with TABS this past weekend and It is working for me. I assume it is fixed in the latest version of DAS Trader Pro (5.2.0.21).

 

See if you're running older version, Menu -> Help -> About

To upgrade to latest DAS Trader Pro, Menu -> Tools -> Auto Upgrade.

 

DAS Trader posts release changelog is here however it is not up to date.

I’ve been playing with TABS this past weekend and It is working for me. I assume it is fixed in the latest version of DAS Trader Pro (5.2.0.21).

 

See if you’re running older version, Menu -> Help -> About

To upgrade to latest DAS Trader Pro, Menu -> Tools -> Auto Upgrade.

 

I attempted the auto-upgrade and it told me I was already on the latest version. I'm on 5.2.0.15. I asked DAS this morning via chat and they told me that 5.2.0.21 is the latest version for the free trial and paid demo users. If you're linked to Interactive Brokers, the latest version is still 5.2.0.15.

makes sense, they test latest enhancements/fixes on newbs like me. I am considering Speedtrader actually, will be talking to them to see what their release schedule is and how quickly they release.
