Scanner options ...

A rather newbe question

I've played with Trade Ideas and Finviz.  All I want is a scanner to show moving avg crossing or above the VWAP.  ...Of course have the abilities to add the usual filters for stock volume/size etc etc.

Am I missing something?  I can't get them to work.

I think the lack of response is because most people here don't use or pay for their own scanners; as they are pretty expensive. Most are happy to use the chat room's.

I'm almost positive Trade Ideas can do this with their scanner though. Join their Friday support group. You can ask questions live and they will attempt to make the scanner right there on the spot with you.

Tom, Trade Ideas has a support chat room actually that you can hop in, the host is very cool and helpful to get your scanners up and running!!! Or at least they used to have a live support chatroom a couple years back...

 

But year Justin is correct, most of us are too poor to afford TI yet lol and we mooch off the BBT chatroom 😄
