Community shared Trade Ideas scanner windows and layouts

Hello everyone,

 

I just recently signed up for a Trade Ideas account and truth be told I've been pretty impressed by all the cool stuff it can do. It's a lot of information overload and hours of consuming YouTube videos just to understand all the various functionality there.

 

One cool feature it has is the ability to save all your various configurations up to their servers in a "Save To Cloud" feature. This is handy if you want to load your favorite layouts on different computers or even from the Trade Ideas Pro Web version in a browser. In a round about way, it kind of serves as a way to back-up your Trade Ideas configurations so you don't loose them.

 

What's really cool though is the ability to take some of those configurations and share them with other Trade Ideas users. Once you've saved your configurations to the cloud, you can choose which configurations you want to create a share link for and which ones you'd like to keep private.

 

The sharing can also be pretty granular too, in that you can share an entire "Layout" (like you see when Andrew fires up the chat room every morning... there's a bunch of different scanner windows all within one "layout"), or you can choose to create share links for individual scanner windows all by themselves. So lets say for example if you happen to build a really cool scanner that seems to be working well for you, you could create a share link for just that one scanner and share it with the Bear Bull Traders community, who could then load it as-is, or modify it to their liking and save their own version of it.

 

I started this thread here in the private side of the Bear Bull Traders forum in hopes that our community could privately share some links to some of our favorite or most helpful Trade Ideas scanner configs. These could be entire layouts, or single windows, accompanied by a brief description about it.

 

For example, to get the sharing started I'll share a link to a single scanner window I created called "Mid-float Gappers Under $50 NASDAQ (Pre-Market Movers)"

This one is intended to be used pre-market and is configured to show stocks with:

Price between $1 and $50

Traded only on the NASDAQ exchange (because I can just hear Andrew "these NYSE stocks can be difficult to trade." ;) )

Volume Today: > 50,000 (to make sure there's some pre-market movement)

Average True Range (ATR): .5 or higher (hopefully there's some decent pre-market price action)

% Change from the Close: > 2% up or down (this is what makes it a 'Gappers' up/down watchlist)

Float: > 30M (could be adjusted up or down, depending on your opinion of mid-float vs. low-float)

Sorted by "% Change from the Close"

 

All you need to do (if you're a Trade Ideas customer) is open your Trade Ideas software and go to Tools, Load from Cloud, paste the share link you've been given, and click Load. Whatever that person has configured (either an entire layout or one or more Windows) will load right up and you're ready to go!
