Question on Andrew's Trade on 5/17

On the 5/17/19 recap from Andrew, he mentioned how he went long MU at the open and his trigger was a big bottom wick on the first 5 min candle, so MU was getting bought up. 

Then, later in the recap, Andrew also points out how TSLA had a big bottom wick on the 1st 5 min candle but he didn't trade that because he was busy with MU. 

So same situation, both stocks had a big bottom with on the 1st 5 min candle. MU goes up (and that's the trade that Andrew is in) and TSLA goes down. And that's the trade that I was in. I saw that big bottom wick on TSLA and I think it's going to go up, so I go long in minute 6 on TSLA and I get stopped out!

What else is there to this? Because I feel like this is the story of my life, I always pick the "bad" stock whereas Andrew picks the good stock in a very similar situation!

And another thing I just noticed, looking at UBER it's first 5 min candle also had a huge bottom wick. Andrew went short in min 2 and then got out really quick on uber, and then in the recap noted that he didn't want to go short again on it because of the really big bottom wick on first 5 min candle. I didn't take this trade, but had I taken it, I would have taken a long position and got stopped out in the chop on UBER. 

So why did Andrew take that long trade on MU instead of TSLA or UBER? I am trying to understand the logic here...
