Yeah I mentioned it on the other thread on this topic. They're under the D in the exchange column (you can add it) which is a darkpool, darkpools don't have to report immediately and so will most likely be delayed transactions. However, given the participants involved in a darkpools I can't see them being anything other than just clouding the tape and therefore I personally choose to remove them.

Chapter 12 W- No on is impervious to thinking that they can keep what is actually important in their mind. Some times what we remember isn’t what actually makes the trade work, so we are then left to refigure out what we think that we’re missing. A- What I could gather from Marks writing was our memory fades with time but the ideas that made the energy for the thought will stay indefinitely in the medium they are recorded to. A- I do not have anything complex to apply this thought to besides trying to work on re-writing how some of my trades work and keep up with my growth.

Chapter 10 - How Memories, Associations, and Beliefs Manage Environmental Information (catch up) W - “I am sure everyone has had the experience of reading unfamiliar material a second, third, or fourth time and perceiving something new with each subsequent reading. What is happening here? With each reading you are building a mental framework that enables you to recognize what was available but unperceivable to you when it was read previously. That is, all the new insight that you garner with each reading was available from the book the moment you picked it up the first time. However, you weren’t able to perceive what it had to offer in the way of insights or understanding until you created an energy loop that enabled you to perceive it; otherwise, the words get read but the insight goes by completely unnoticed even though you are looking right at it.” (pp. 106-107) A - This is a wonderful metaphor to help us understand that many distinctions appear in the market but can only be perceived by the trader based on the state of the trader's mental framework to take advantage of all the opportunities the market has to offer right in front of the trader’s eyes. A - I liken the daily practice of trading the charts to reading a book a second, third, fourth time. With every trade I am able to perceive something new about the market that I didn’t understand before which enhances and builds my mental framework for trading.

Chapter 9 - Understanding the Nature of the Mental Environment (catch up) W - “Essentially, what I am stating is that our existence straddles two very different dimensions simultaneously. We live in and perceive three-dimensional space, and, as a result, our physical senses are subject to the limitations of time, where one moment passes after another in straight linear fashion, whereas we think in a dimension where time and space as it is perceived in the physical environment doesn’t exist.” (p. 98) A - Mark is making an important distinction about our existence and how we experience the physical and the mental environment at the same time but in different ways. Only the mental environment can store our experiences of the external environment as memories in energy form that is not limited by time or space but can act as a force on our behavior. A - Understanding the nature of the mental environment has great implications on my trading because it reinforces the idea that most of my struggle trading is in the mental and not physical environment and that all of my memories are acting as a force on my behavior. It also gives me great hope that I have power to minimize the impact of those memories that are stored as negative energy on my trading only if I consciously make an effort to do so.

Chapter 12 - The Dynamics of Goal Achievement W - Any difference between what we wanted, expected, desired or needed and what we got is simply an indication of the degree to which we haven't learned what we needed to know or evidence that we don't have the appropriate skills to do what needed to be done. A - Mark is telling us our results are just a picture of where we are and what we still need to learn and/or how to execute A - This has been rolling around in my head for a few weeks now - this sentence. Our equity curve, results, performance, journal and all we have are just a mirror/picture of where we are in our development. We don't have to take that the wrong way; rather embrace it. These are all the things we can and need to learn to become who we want to be.... if we can document it, create a method to learn/correct it - we can grow into what we want.... we have to see it so that means being very self aware & then devise a plan to change it. It is not easy, but it is doable. If we focus on the process and read the results only as opportunities to learn & grow; we begin a process of continuous improvement. One day we will look back and say - gosh I forgot how far I came...
