Hi Everyone. We are slowly expanding on the Swing Trading platform and wanted to let you know that you can sign up for swing trading opportunity alerts. The sign up forum is at the bottom of the Swing Trading section (under the "Other Trading" tab) on the BBT website. We will not be using your email to blast you with ads and other info. It will only be used to send trade opportunity alerts. What we hope is to give you more timely information on opportunities that come up throughout the trading day. These are not recommendations to buy or sell securities but they will give you ideas for you to form your own opinions on a potential trade. More to come. One step at a time. Brian

NetFlix has been volatile for a while now. I added to my position at 295 for a run to the 410 level. Netflix has been a good buy on the dip for a few years now. I still see a lot of potential, especially if we can break the MA 200.

Hello everyone, I have a question about commissions trading with a small account. Let's have an example: I trade with a 5000$ account and my daily target is set at 1% which equals 50 bucks. I am trading small size to lower my risk and my trading goes well. I take two trades that day and both are green. Doing as i have learned i take profit of the board - let's say three times per trade. So now i am sitting at eight tickets if i am correct. Paying commissions and ECN fees i might actually be red at the end of the day although i think my execution was fine. I am wondering what proper management looks like in this case. Do i aim to take profit just once before getting out to lower my overall tickets? Do i take more shares to compensate commissions? Do i hold positions longer and hope for a higher target as planned? Since i am still at my very first touches there might be a fault in my reasoning. Kevin.

Saludos...

With the help of Raymond W, we’ve been able to define a single hotkey for flipping an open position: Simulator: ROUTE=MARKET;Share=Pos*2;TIF=DAY+;SEND=REVERSE Interactive Brokers: ROUTE=SMRTM;Share=Pos*2;TIF=DAY+;SEND=REVERSE Note that this hotkey will send a market order.
