I'm a complete beginner in every sense of the word. I've gone through 1 other trading course prior to signing up to BBT, but that's where it ends. Unfortunately I'm finding the flow of information on BBT quite confusing, there is a LOT of emphasis placed on things having the right tools and technology, but very little mention of explaining the strategies used? In the videos it's mentioned but quickly glossed over. I'm getting quite nervous as I'm approaching the end of the course and feel like I haven't learned nearly enough. I'm currently going through the advanced course and on lesson : "How to find your trading strategy ...." where he says to skip ahead to "Watch Tradebook Section" ??? I've also just requested to have the DAS SIM activated today, so I'm too committed to back out now . Basically, what I need to know are the following, 1. Is this course suited to beginners who are new to trading and 2. If I watch everything, in the order it's presented in, will that be enough to equip me with everything I need to eventually start trading?

There is no doubt BBT family have made the learning curve a lot smoother for new members. Just sharing some of the challenge that I am facing starting up. Hopefully can help other new traders or members that are new to trading. DAS resolution. When i was setting up DAS, my hot key window doesn't look right. Wrote in to DAS and following is the solution: Right click the dastrader.exe, Properties, then refer to screenshot. Click Compatibility tab, then click Change hight DPI settings, this will bring up the dialog on the right. Check Override high DPI. Problem solved. BBT is a great community for the new traders starting out. I have been with BBT for almost 2 years now and based out of Germany. When I joined I had struggle attending all the onboarding classes, because they were planned at 2AM my time (Central European Time). I had to go thru only recording of sessions, but the problem was there was no opportunity to attend live classes or raise questions. Later more classes were planned including psychology sessions and Success webinars based on Eastern Standard Time. So I missed almost all the Live classes. BBT is a Global community and we have as many members outside the US, my suggestion is to either plan additional sessions for people outside US or conduct the classes immediately after the Market close. I see in the chatroom, more new members have the same question. Now that BBT community is growing the proposal makes even more sense. Please do respond to the Poll as you see fit.
