Peter journal: First pullback+lightning bolt+ABCD

Recommended Posts

first month of trading is over: 17 Nov-18 Dec... 21 trading days and 49 trades results:

21 trading days: +18.5R     average day +0.82R

49 trades: 24 winners , 25 losers   =  win rate  49%

average trade profit: +0.38R

winners together: +43.9R , losers together: -25.4R , profit factor: 1.7

Problems to solve:

1. I am not selling stocks exactly to plan, I need to correct selling plan  and make

exact rules what I can follow 100% times. I need to make new selling rules easier to follow and to have bigger win rate.

2. I cant trade those days if I am tired or not prepared, its better skip those days and have 0R to trade and have -2R.

what is good:

With first month I am growing account, setup is working good.

Last 2 weeks statistics are very good: win rate is 62%, profit factor is 2.75, average trade profit +0.58R. Those are excellent statistics.

But not much data yet I need more data to be sure and more confident with this setup.

Tuesday results 2losers -2R. It was not trading day both trades was gambling trades with no setup, was away 4 days and today did not do proper

preparation before trading day.  Das locked me for day, after second losing trade...its good that Das locks me after second losing trade, if I could trade more then third trade

would be loser too...and now I have only 2 losers.

I a m ending December 2020 here, no trading tomorrow and next week, back 4.01.2021

December 2020 stat: +10.6R 15 tr.days average day +0.71R, 28 trades 14W/14L, win rate 50%

average trade profit +0.37R

December together was decent month, last 2 days ruined nice statistics, but big picture was good. I raised:

1. win rate from 39% to 50%

2. average day profit from +0.49R to +0.71R

3. average trade from +0.15R to +0.37R

4. profit factor from 1.35 to 1.67

Now In January, when earning season starts, my main task is to hold this December performance and before end of month  reach +25R total profits and raise risk to level 2.

Superb would be if I could raise my performance even more...

superb statistics are:

1. win rate over 60%

2. average  trading day over +1.25R

3. average trade profit over +0.5R

4. profit factor over 2.0

I done some back testing all my December trades and results are:

with my selling rules all trades are: +10.6R

If I sold all my trades 2 to 1 all or nothing approach then results would be: +12.7R

If I sold all my trades 1 to 1 all or nothing approach then results would be: +2.2R

If I sold all my trades 3 to 1 all or nothing approach then results would be: +5..2R

December Best results are 2 to 1 AON approach, I am continue to test those all approach on January and then if necessary make changes, 2 to 1 is easyer

to follow you need only hotkey and then all is done no more thinking what to do after entering a trade.

Its gross, no reason to put net i am risking so little. Later if risk is normal ( 100 dollar or more) commisions are less than 10% from grossprofit. Im calculating like this.
