Those are the stocks on my list I showed you today, I just quickly click through those and look for a set up. Because I'm looking for something very specific it doesn't take long.

-Weekly Review-

-2 Week Winners Review-

-2 Week Losers Review-

-Final Thoughts-

1. No more partials for a while, the significant majority of my winners get to 4R, so most trades I'll be taking all or nothing 4R, if a setup is great I'll go for 5R+. If a setups is perfect and has a high probability to happen, but isn't that extended i'll go for 3R (head and shoulders, bear/bull flag). I'm still okay with jumping out of a position if I really feel the follow through isn't there. If I get very clear volume and level 2 confirmation of a reversal, I'm okay with partialling at 50% near my 4R and letting the rest ride for the day.

2. I will only take stops at technical levels, if I use the body of the previous candle I have to be confident in a break in my direction, otherwise, I'll use wider technical stop, I gave up a lot of great winners taking slightly to tight of stops this last week.

3. I need full body high volume candles pushing the price further in to extension, the further extended price is, the more effort it takes to push price in that direction, and that amount of effort isn't sustainable. I want to ride the "parabolic" move back to the 9 and beyond. These are the A+ setups, large strong fast moves with heavy volume breaking key levels and very extended from the 9 on the 5.

4. Extension has to be there, I took a lot of trades where the risk to reward looked good in the moment, but after the fact it was clear that my R to R was only 2R-3R and not 4R-5R.

5. If there is a key level in my way between price and my target, it is necessary that either the  level was not respected when price initially broke through it or that level is very close to the 9 on the 5. I lost a few trades after taking my entry then taking a fast partial at whatever level is in my way, then the stock bouncing off that level and returning back to my b/e to stop me out.

6. My hit rate is around 33%, meaning each potential setup I see is most likely not going to work out, and taking more trades doesn't mean making more R's, it's the opposite. It's clear that I need to be more selective, when I start getting a higher hit rate I'll worry about getting a scanner. I am at some disadvantage not having a scanner, however there are still great plays all the time and there is no reason I can't be pulling 10R-20R weeks trading this specific setup.

7. Most of the trades I take in the first 30 minutes do not work, this is because I'm trading against a trend that has not yet reached it's buying/selling climax. If a stock is buying up and then slowly starting to consolidate in the morning, it's best to just leave it, especially a higher float stock.

8. On the topic of higher float stocks that are trending, I need a double top or a H&S, I threw a lot away on $QQQ last week, it doesn't turn on a dime.

9. I need to take slightly earlier entries with slightly wider stops, often times I'm waiting too long for confirmation, the price will break in my direction and I'll end up getting a bad fill with too tight of stop, I want to work on this next week.

10. I can take a PR at the "top" of the 2nd strong 5 min candle, or anytime during the 3rd, ideally it's at the top of the 3rd or the 4th.
