If you like looking for volume bars that are over daily average, you can add that line to your volume chart and it doesn't clutter it up much. I like glancing down there for extra entry confirmation most of the time. But if you can just analyze the avg by looking at all the bars you might not need to add it.

I always partial at VWAP, I'm curious to see how your strategy of holding for the MA works out, I'll be keeping an eye out for your findings.

Thanks for the video today.

18 June 2020!!!!!!!!!

Recap / analyze

Parabolic reversal ramble (I'm getting too loose with these so this vid is just more for me to pin down what is an A+ setup and what isn't)

Pendant play (my favorite trade this week, just going through it live, 4.5R play!)

I would suggest reaching out to Aiman through email and ask him what time of the day he starts looking for these. I haven’t studied his setup in depth, but I have heard him describe them several times.

I don’t think this is a setup he uses in the first 10-15 minutes. I think he likes 3 legs up with no pullbacks (consolidation doesn’t count as a pullback) It appear you are trying these after the second leg up.

like I said, I haven’t studied this setup and I could be wrong. I just feel like these are trades used no sooner than 20 minutes after the open, maybe even 30 minutes, that have moved up and consolidated 3 times.

I’ll dig up his video on it later and re-watch it when I have time.

keep it up, you are doing a great job reviewing your trades and looking for ways to improve.

thanks for making the videos.

Thanks for watching! Talking through trades seems to do a lot more for me than just typing.

I'm going to stop taking these the first 20 minutes and tighten up my entries, now that I think about it the ones that have worked the best for me (I believe) have been a little later in my trading session. I'll dig through my trades. When it struggles near a level, gives small candles, is over extended, and has abnormal volume, the hit rate is very high for a 3R-5R trade. They're great, but they give such a great risk reward that your brain, at least mine, loves to force them!

Edit... WoW! I've actually thrown away 5R this week taking PR's the first 20 mins ..

They are great because you know exactly where the stop should be. Then you just make sure the 9 on the 5Min is 3:1 (I think that’s how he does R:R for these) and then if it breaks the 9, there’s a good chance it will go to VWAP for a big R trade.

19 June 2020 - recap / analyze 2.2R day, lot to learn from today, overall good trading sesh

@hailchaser2 It bounced just before the 9 on the 5 and wicked me out, but really happy with the entry

image.thumb.png.32f3585a7579feb2b3c93e4c3f67db66.png

Also, here was a nice setup on $MPC That I ALMOST took, but it didn't have the volume and would have been too early, but I loved the double bottom above 40, like not even strong enough to test 40.

Also #2 you can think of this as a double bottom, parabolic reversal, and ascending triangle play back to the 9 on the 5. So cool!!

22 June 2020 Trades -

*ALSO*

I took a 5min ORB I forgot to mention, my mistake?? The previous candle was such a wide hammer showing no respect to $15, I had a similar ORB on $MU that didn't work out for the same reason, either the level i'm fixin' to trade off of is CLEARLY respected, or I gotta take a wider stop (gross), or I just gotta wait it out.
