PAT: Over-trading ..... Live PB#3 only ....... A or better setups .......

Feeling a bit jittery.....  on Thors advice I will trade 1/2 size today.....

TEVA

FDA Approval

PB#3 ...  trending the 9ema on the 2min with ABCD on the 2 and 5min ......  first partial at a resistance level and slow of T&S and L2 ....... Second partial I accidentally hit the button twice leaving me with almost nothing... all out at the return to the 9ema on the 2min....

2nd entry the 5min was holding the 9ema and the new, the bad was a new 15min low on previous candle but I was able to keep a tight stop at .77 for a new 15min low .... chopped in a range forever and got bored so I am all out at first target of .90

PTON

PB#3 .... stopped out when it broke the trend shooting for the 20ema on the 2min .... maybe could have held through it but with the spy being so choppy I felt better just getting out and happy with a green day.... it did end up in a chop for next 15min before I turned off DAS for the day

Cons: Didn't need to trade PTON so I will call this Over-trading

Pros: Very patient on the morning waiting on my PB#3 setup

PAT: Over-trading / boredom .....

MRNA

PB#7 ... 15min reversal, second 15min candle high and running through 21.25 Resistance level (old Support)... I hesitated on the partial and missed the top.... Also on the all out I accidentally reversed my position and corrected it as soon as I seen it. Even though it was looking good for a short I wanted it corrected so I do not come back and think I was a genius LOL

Pros: I controlled myself from taking trades out of boredom

Bad day, I over-traded on both tickers and took too much size on both. This could have easily turned into a HULK day but talking it out helped me get out.

This is the first week that I am trying some new things. With my lack of sleep because of my job I am falling into a trend where I get super fatigued once a month and get into a Mini Hulk day and on a weekly basis I am super tired and fatigued especially on Wed. and Thur. So on these two days I will sleep in and get a good rest to trade the afternoon market where in the past I have proven to be more profitable also.

AIS 1200, 7 hours, 8/10

TGT

PB#3 .... The downtrend had reversed on the 15 and 30Min. I took 3 partials and all out on first trade and reentered on a new ABCD on the 2min with a partial and all out on L2 and T&S action

PAT: only PB#3 Live and all PB#3 Live .... Over-trading

AAL

Reson2Trade: Virus has been bad news for travel,  On Scanners, RVOL was 247% at time of trade and 402% yesterday

PB#3, Trending the 9ema on the 5min, a pullback and confirmation of ABCD on the 2min with small entry and increasing upon further confirmation. In at 16.75 Risk was 16.82 and target was 16.50 (3/1). Took 25% at 1R to reduce risk as SPY is getting close to a possible double bottom. Took 25% more at 2R and am very happy that this is not following SPY but it is only Helping it out. 25% more at 3R as this 16.50 was a struggle and there was someone holding the BID. Once it broke out with serious volume I took another 25% at almost 4R. I put a SSR order in for 16.55 to add on with no luck on the fill. I brought the order down to 16.47 to get filled (chased a bit here) and should have left it at .55 . This brought my average down too much so I just got all out with a mostly good trade till the add. This was an expected retrace and consolidation but I let my emotions get the best of me. +2R

This trade was mainly based on it not following SPY like most other stocks and L2

2nd trade, new ABCD on 2min, set an order at 16.42 for 1/2 size with a stop at 16.50 and a target based on L2 at 16.00 (5/1). After  two more 5min candles and a new 15min I moved my stop to 16.46 which would be a new 15min high buy .02 and also this will cross the 9 and 20 on the 1min. All out for a -0.2R trade

835542376_3-5-20AALPB3.thumb.png.7139695278720d12d1486fdbee4f22f3.png

3rd trade PB#7. at 1324 and 1336, I jumped the gun here on the first one but the second one followed most of the rules of the trade. The MAs on the 2min were not pointing up yet as they did at 1346 which is the same or better entry but all align with the trade rules. I think I will add that L2 must also be turning around for more confirmation of the reversal. This trade stayed very Bearish on the L2. This did end up as a reversal. I will now need to look for better stops in the future

This is pure speculation and trial and error on a new setup and was obviously in SIM

1305558702_3-5-20AALPB7.thumb.png.290dd3869b11a486939b435521f4e921.png

Cons: a little mismanagement at the end of the first AAL trade

Pros: stuck with my plan and read the tape well

PB Trade: AAL

PB#3, testing the PML for the third time for a new trend entry, very tight stop. If momentum does not carry it quickly to RED/Green then its time to stop. I was more aggressive on the partials due to the current choppy market conditions. All out at 1108 but realized shortly after that I forgot to take and order out and I was short and covered as soon as I realized it.

3-2 to 3-6-20

What I did bad this week:

Technical Errors: Forgot to remove a stop order and ended up in a short that I did not want

Trade management could have been a little better but overall it is getting better

Over-trading on 1 day

Took my eyes off of charts for journal to miss a great opp

Took Live Trades outside of PB#3 on 1 day

What I did good this week:

Respected my in trade and daily stops

Got out after either stop for the day or a goal in mind and did not trade the rest of the day as planned on all days and did not Over-trade

Stuck to my  plan on 2 days

Reading the tape well on focused days

Adjusted in-trade trading plan for the current choppy market taking more partials and scalping more

Changes to be made this upcoming week:

Work on my Trend Scalps as Scalps and not long term Trends

Rules to stick by this upcoming Week:

After I call it a day by either MAX Loss, Profit Target or what I am comfortable with, only use the rest of the day for Chat, Journal, Playbook ect.

In-Trade and Daily Stops

Do Not chase or revenge trade

Live Only one loosing trade before 1100

Challenges for myself this upcoming Week:

Only A or better setups at time of trade

On mic trades only with my small group

Take a planned break at 1100 to 1200 for other Bus.

@ 0905 do some exercise and then meditate to calm myself

Stay unbiased

Notes:

Rules are not to be broken, these will cost money every time

My Challenges are almost as important as my Rules, Pay attention to them

If I feel overtired I will try going back to bed and coming back to Trend Trades later....

Goals and Rewards:

+20Rs or more at end of the month to consider trading with more size in the future two months                                  +8R for the week

PAT: Over-trading... PB#3 in Live only ... stick with stocks in play....

TWTR PB#3 two trades....first one was over extended and I knew it but reduced share size. goal was to scalp it but I did not  because of the small size I had which was a mistake on trade management. second entry was much better and I did take the same amount of share size as to not skew the Rs for this trade.  with partials and an all out on new bad price action and tape. this did end up coming back to 34.40 as of this post and I am happy with the all out.

PB#3, B setup

Trending the 9 on the 5min with a retrace to the 20. I got to the desk at 1150 and found this at 1152. Took it quickly in SIM because I was not able to evaluate it fully. This is not a normal setup that I would take for my PB#3 and was taken in SIM

Trending the 9 on the 5, entry based on the 2min. Add on again on the bounce off the 9 on the 2min. Took a partial and once I seen the momentum changing I took the rest off.

I should have scalped the first entry and made the second entry another scalp as this is where it seems to be more profitable in the current market

Trending the 9 and not trading with SPY. First entry was based on the 2min pullback to the 9 with a bounce and add on was the bounce off the 9 on the 5min. I was also watching a held bid along with T&S for the add. Took profits at key points on the L2 and daily levels and all out at BE.

My R/R on this setup was bad and miscalculated
