  1. Today someone shared this hotkey code: CXL ALLSYMB;StopPrice=Price;StopPrice=StopPrice*0.50;StopPrice=Round1;StopPrice=StopPrice/0.50;Price=Ask-Price;Share=10/Price;TogSShare;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price= Ask+0.25;TIF=DAY+;BUY;Price=Ask-StopPrice*4+Ask;TriggerOrder=RT:STOP STOPTYPE:RANGE LowPrice:StopPrice HighPrice:Price ACT:SELL QTY:POS TIF:DAY+ This is a hotkey for FUTURES, that lets you click where you want your STOP to be. This is for a LONG position only. I am looking to see if someone can post or make a code to go SHORT. Thank you for any help
  2. I have a screen with 6 charts (3 linked to their own montages and 3 fixed using the Data Config). I typically watch from the open on lower timeframes but would like to flick between 1 minute, 2 minute, 5 minute and 15 minute quickly as the day progresses. Is it possible to switch the timeframe on a group of charts with a hotkey in DAS?
  3. Hi i hope someone can help me with this. Recently i have been journaling my trades and i have been developing a bad habit of letting my winning trades turn into losing ones. I usually trade from 9:30 am to 12-1pm, with majority of my trades in the morning. In the morning because of the volatility i am not able to enter my stop loss to break even manually fast enough. If anyone has any scripts to when i take my first partial, my stop loss automatically jumps to break even or would like to collab with me to create this hot key script. I am not good at hot key scripting but im learning. If anyone can help me or point me to the right direction it would help me ten fold with my trading and also people that might be struggling with the same problem as me.
  4. Hi, I'm a new memeber here. I'm trying to start small and not complicate with partials and share size. I'm comfortable trading by defining how much capital i want to use per trade, stop loss and profit target. I'm planning to start with a small capital and I don't want to spend time calculating how many shares I could buy. I tried the current risk based hotkeys. I understand It's a great tool but I feel like i'm still not at that point in my trading journey. Does anyone have/know hot keys where I can say ok use 3000 USD to buy me this share and set the stop loss at x.yz and take profit when it hits y.xz. I really liked the hot key where you could double click for your stop loss and it calculates how many shares you could buy. Only problem I have is I want to define my capital/BP. Even in simulator, I don't want to use all I have, I want to see what happens when I use only 10k because that's all I will be able to use when I go live. Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi, I love Kyle's Das Equalizing Hotkey.... I am totally clueless about scripting. I want so badly to set a trigger limit Ask Buy with the equalizing hotkey stops all calculated so that i am waiting for the price to trigger (example during a breakout). However for the current Kyle's Das Equalizing Hotkey, once you execute the hotkey, the price gets immediately triggered. I would want to engage anyone who could help for a fee. Really really appreciate. Thank you. Important Hotkey for Day Traders: EQUALIZED RISK PER TRADE on DAS Trader Pro - YouTube (Btw Kyle if you are reading this...i love your hotkeys so much...am forever grateful )
  6. Hello, I recently found the equalised risk hotkeys on YouTube and they've been really helpful with maximising opportunities while managing risk. I was wondering if anyone had a script for adding to positions while managing avg share cost in a similar way? Put simply, I need a hotkey that tells DAS to buy as many shares as possible without bringing the avg share cost past my desired price. If anyone could help I'd be very grateful, equalising risk has already been a game-changer
  7. Hi there, My first question here , I've been using the hotkeys from the "Most Frequently Used Hotkeys" and there's something I noticed regarding the short side: 1) I'm using the order with automatic stop loss and defined risk as below: StopPrice=Price+0;DefShare=BP*0.925;Price=Price-Bid+0.00;SShare=25/Price;Share=DefShare-SShare;DefShare=DefShare+SShare;SShare=Share;Sshare=DefShare-SShare;Share=0.5*SShare;TogSShare;ROUTE=SMRTL;Price=Bid-0.05;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send;DefShare=200;TriggerOrder=RT:STOP STOPTYPE:MARKET PX:StopPrice+0.05 ACT:BUY STOPPRICE:StopPrice QTY:Pos TIF:DAY+; When I short, I got the montage as below, I think the Sshare minus is what cause the issue 2) After short, when I decide to cover, I use the cover the following script: CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=LIMIT;Price=ASK+0.05;Price=Round2;Share=Pos*.5;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Market;StopPrice=AvgCost;Share=Pos+share;TIF=GTC;BUY=SEND and I get the following montage: as you can see the shares was reduced by 1/2 as intended but the stop added 1 share, but, if I cover half again: this time, appears to have changed properly, but as the first calculation was incorrect I have now 18 shares on the buy side and as you can imagine, if it hits my breakeven, I go long by 9 shares (18-9). Does anyone got this issue using the script? I believe it's related to the SSHARE parameter, but I've been struggling with that with no success so far. Kind regards, Nobre
  8. Hey All! I am struggling to decide what hotkeys to use. Based on the info provided in the education center, I am assuming most people use Kyle's hotkey scripts. I would love to find out if this is accurate or if there are some who use other hotkey scripts. So let me know what you're using! Thanks! Elisabeth Price
  9. Hi guys, i'm new to the stock market and just wanna ask something regarding the hotkeys, i've went through the hotkeys file that kyle made and know there is a hotkey that is 1 to 2 risk reward be it long or short. But is there a way to modify the command such that i just want it to auto calculate the amount of shares i can buy based on the pre set amount, let's say $20, also on the stop loss i've made and my buying capital. As sometimes different stocks cost differently, the amount of shares is different and also sometimes when the preset shares is based on $20 but my buying power could not afford so many shares. So it'll be great if there is a hotkey that could set based on, stoploss, buying capital and also the preset amount. And also I do not want to set the take profit part as i dont want to clear all my shares in 1 go because sometimes the stocks could go way further than 1: 2. Thanks in advance!!
  10. Hi Community, first of all, I have to say you all are awesome! I am so happy I found this community! I am new to DAS Trader, and was wondering is there is a way to have the stop loss order trigged in the premarket and after hours sessions. I am currently using the equalized hot keys with R:R orders, but the stop loss does not trigger in the pre-market, it is possible to have it trigged in the non regular hours? Thank you very much, Emanuel P.S. Please feel free to delete this post if it is duplicated.
  11. Hey all, I'm trying to figure out how to script a hotkey in DAS for adding to or creating a new position that will buy or short a set number of shares and then set a stop loss for fixed amount calculated based on the overall position and average cost per share. For example I want to buy 100 shares and I want to set my stop to fixed amount say $100 dollars. The math for this seems pretty basic just (average cost- (risk amount/position)) but I can't seem to make that work in a hotkey script. I would also want the script to update the stop if I add to the position so for example for a $10 stock: the first time I hit the button it buys 100 shares at current ask then sets a stop to sell 100 shares at $9, then I hit it again (assuming the ask is still $10) it buys another 100 shares (now I have 200 shares) and sets the new stop loss (cancelling the old) to sell 200 shares at $9.50. and then will do that each time I mash the button so were I to hit it 10 times for a 1000 shares my new stop loss would be to sell 1000 shares at $9.90. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  12. so I want to make hotkey that set's range order based on clicking to chart and existing stop loss order I've managed to make it for long side trades as this CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Range;LowPrice=stopprice;HighPrice=price;Share=Pos;TIF=DAY+;SELL=Send but I can't get it to work for short side, my guess is that it's because somehow stoploss when going short doesn't have a stopprice? bacause when I try to use this it simply set both low and highprice to 'price' CXL ALLSYMB;ROUTE=STOP;StopType=Range;LowPrice=price;HighPrice=stopprice;Share=Pos;TIF=DAY+;BUY=Send any idea if there is some other way to specify the high price?
  13. Hi everyone, I've gotten a ton of requests for my hotkey file and associated StreamDeck icons and I haven't been able to stay on top of all the google drive requests. So I've attached them to this post! Included in the zip file: -Short and long icons for trading sizes for 100 to 10,000 shares -Sell 1/4, 1/2, and ALL size icons -Cancel icons -A couple of custom icons -The Adobe Illustrator template file to make your own -And finally my hotkey file with a specific, logical hotkey defined for each share size in the set. Hope you enjoy! JH-STREAMDECK-ICONS.zip
  14. Hello, Just wondering if anyone has contacted DAS about custom hotkeys. Meaning, I tell them what I want the hotkey to do, and they code it for me. I've been trying to get it solved on my own but it's not easy, there's no documentation for the DAS scripting language, and the scripting window is pretty bare bones. Cheers, RR
  15. BBT-- I am looking for a hotkey script for a set hard stop loss (or trailing) that still allows partials from both long and short positions. Does anyone have such a hot key or know if this is even possible in DAS? Thanks.
  16. Hi All, I'm making this post seeking assistance with a specific hotkey script that I'm having trouble making. It's a rather simple concept, but despite having it clearly defined in my mind, I am having a hard time finding the resources to execute it. So, here goes... The simple function that I am looking for (in a single hotkey) is this - I would like to: 1.) Be able to select a limit order price by clicking on the chart (and would like it to be ask + 0.05 for long positions, or bid -0.05 for short positions). 2.) Execute the order at a specific share size defined by the quantity related hotkey that is pressed after purchase price is selected by clicking. 3.) Automatically set a stop loss at -$150 for any quantity share size chosen. If anyone is able to help with this, or share their similar hotkey script, I would be extremely grateful! Thanks! - Phil
  17. Many of you might have already heard of the fantastic DAS Dynamic Hotkey (aka Kyle's Hotkeys), which allows you to place trades setting by fixed dollar amount or percentage you want to risk on each trade. These dynamic scripts take a lot of work of your hands and allow the DAS Trader Pro platform to do all the thinking and calculating for you. Saving you time and allowing you to focus on the actual trade, which is far more critical. Kyle is kind enough to host a Success Webinar for us on Wednesday, March 4th at 8:00 pm. The webinar will structure in two parts, the first session will breakdown the latest dynamic hotkeys, how they work, and the expected action. Part two will be a Q&A in regards to these hotkeys. To better prepare, we asked that you post questions you might already have about these hotkeys below so that Kyle can review before his webinar. Thanks! PS: If you are not yet aware of Kyle's hotkeys, below is the post link. https://forums.bearbulltraders.com/topic/716-das-dynamically-calculate-shares-on-risk-or-risk-hot-key-configuration-updated-91019-v21/

The Low range is where you double click in chart and The Hi price is ASK + 10% ASK , would be 54.70 For $ROKU Long Position actual Ask Hi would be $121 if Actual ASK is $120 For Long previous entries ..... (1) Stop Range Click to Ask * 10% +Ask Low range click in chart or price in montage and High price 10% actual ASK finally Montage go back to Market instead STOP route (CMEG) Permit to move range in a trend with great space if go in you favor then you could partial or go out with normal hotkeys (With CXL ALLSYMB to remove the orders pend) CXL ALLSYMB;StopPrice=Price+0;Price=Ask*0.01;Price=Round2;Price=Price+Ask;Share=Pos; Route=Stop;StopType=Range;LowPrice=StopPrice;HighPrice=Price;TIF=DAY;SELL=Send;Route=Market; (2) 50% actiual position , this version permit more than one Stop Range for partials. I retired CXL to avoid erase previous order entry. StopPrice=Price+0;Price=Ask*0.01;Price=Round2;Price=Price+Ask;Share=Pos*.5; Route=Stop;StopType=Range;LowPrice=StopPrice;HighPrice=Price;TIF=DAY;SELL=Send;Route=Market; For Short previous entries ..... 19. Does anybody have the script for a hotkey that automatically places an even stop? Thanks!
  20. During the NYC meetup on Feb 21st, 2020 I discussed with a few traders how I use an app on my iPad mini for my hotkey execution. They asked that I post something in the forum and here it is. Please read through the entire description to decide if you want to use this same approach, takes some effort but it is not difficult. Let me know if you have any questions. The app, from the Apple App Store, is called Custom Keypad, I believe I paid $4.99. It allows unlimited configuration of custom buttons and controls. Setup is straight forward but takes a little time to get it exactly the way you want it. I have been using it to trade since March of 2018 and have had no issues with it. For the actual hotkeys behind the buttons, well that is a whole other conversation. I’ll just post an image of my hotkey scripts at the end and if interested let me know and I will send you my das hotkey file. Below is an image of the Custom Keypad app in the Apple App Store: Get the app installed on your iPad or iPad mini, I personally think an iPhone is way too small, but that is up to you. To use the app you will need to download a piece of free software so the wireless connection can be made to your pc. (Note that I use a windows laptop as my trading platform. I have not tested this set-up on my iMac.) The software is a VNC (Virtual Network Connection) Server. It will establish a link between your iPad and pc via your wireless network. I use TightVNC found at https://www.tightvnc.com/download.php Follow the automated install and set-up instructions once downloaded. An icon for the server will be in your tray (lower right-hand corner of the screen) once it is running. Mouse over that and you will see the local IP Address that it is using, note that down as it will be needed for set-up of the Custom Keypad app connection. Open the Custom Keypad app on your iPad, click on Connections on lower left and then add a connection by tapping on the + symbol in lower left. Tap the New Computer Connection and that brings up the connection set-up page. Rename the connection, I use “Trading Laptop” but use whatever works for you. Next click on Host and here is where you enter the IP Address noted down from the TightVNC Server. Click Save in upper right when done. Do not need to change the Port setting and then finally enter a Password for the connection. At this point you should be able to go back up to top and click on the Connect link and it will connect to the TightVNC Server that is already running. After it connects, it will display a Disconnect link. That means the app is connected wirelessly to your pc. At this point you can click the Disconnect link and then go back two Pages (< Back, < Home on upper left). Click on Layouts link at lower left, brings you to the Layouts list. Click the + in lower left to add a Layout. It will add a layout named “New Layout”. Click on that to begin your set-up. Tap on the edit symbol and then the share symbol (not sure why but that is where they have the overall layout settings access). Click on the Layout Settings link. Here you can name your layout and set the overall parameters for a layout. My settings are number of pages: 2, disable scrolling: on, show grid: off (turn on for set-up makes things easier), snap to grid: on, grid spacing: 20, start gradient color: 000000, end gradient color: 5D5D5D. I do not use a background image. When done click the < Layout link in upper left corner. (Remember these are just my settings, use anything you want. I trade with white backgrounds on my charts, but like the dark background on my hotkeys.) Now you can Add Controls, just tap that link and you can set-up any configuration of keys for your hotkey usage. I use only rectangular buttons. Double tap on the new button and it will open the settings page for that control. Pretty self-explanatory, go through and make the changes you want. Below are the settings for my Buy @.10 risk button. Note I use only Single Tap set-ups, choose which one works best for your style. Be sure to Save when in each setting. Verify your control set-up and then go back to Layout for next control. I also use images for my buttons for esthetics only. I will post the images at the bottom if you want to use them. They will resize to any rectangular button size. After you complete your edits tap the edit icon again in the lower left corner and you will be back to operational mode. If you disconnected earlier, tap the Not Connected link, select the Connection from the list and tap the Connect link again. Then just go back to your layout. A few tips on set-up and operations. I recommend only using combinations of keys and use Ctrl + any number or letter. Does not seem to work with the Shift key, hence I am only using the Ctrl key. Also, your keyboard is still active for the hotkeys. The app is only an easier way to access the hotkeys. Just match your hotkey set-up in your trading platform to the same key combos in the app for each key you want to use. One final note on operating the app. I check the TightVNC Server every morning to verify whether it has auto updated the IP Address it is using. Happens sometimes on restarts and is always only the last number of the sequence. If it changes just go to the connections page in the Keypad app and update the Host and save, then connect again. The connection will drop when the iPad is off or cover closed, so just need to reconnect each time, but that is usually through an alert that you just tap, not going through the connections page each time. Once again, if you get this far let me know if you have any questions. It may seem like a lot, but once you get going it is fun and creative to customize your layouts and settings. Just make sure you test thoroughly in SIM before using your keys live. Your eyes will be a bit weary verifying all your hotkeys between the app and your trading platform, but for me it has made all the difference in removing that mental bandwidth required to think about hitting the right keystroke combination in the heat of the trade. Just a tap and done. Good luck and trade safe! For reference, my hotkey scripts: For reference, images for keypad control set-up:
