  1. Hey all, I recently purchased an Elgato Stream Deck for my hotkeys. I got it installed no problem and have successfully attached my hotkeys. But the following day I was getting a few different error messages. For example, "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1_dll was not found." and "....MSVCP140_1_dll was not found." It said to reinstall the stream deck and that this may solve the issue - which it did not. I also found a thread about making sure I updated to the latest supported Visual C++ downloads which also did not fix my problem. I am using a Dell XPS 13, with Windows 10 Home (version 20H2). Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! Elisabeth Price
  2. I bought the stream desk because of your post. How did you set up your Stream Deck - for example, do I have to program a hotkey for my keyboard and THE Trader Pro for every action I take, and then link it to the subfolder in the Stream Desk? Could give me somebody a quick guide on how this works in Stream Desk. I'm a little overwhelmed with this. Thank you.
  3. Hi everyone, I've gotten a ton of requests for my hotkey file and associated StreamDeck icons and I haven't been able to stay on top of all the google drive requests. So I've attached them to this post! Included in the zip file: -Short and long icons for trading sizes for 100 to 10,000 shares -Sell 1/4, 1/2, and ALL size icons -Cancel icons -A couple of custom icons -The Adobe Illustrator template file to make your own -And finally my hotkey file with a specific, logical hotkey defined for each share size in the set. Hope you enjoy! JH-STREAMDECK-ICONS.zip
  4. Anybody set up TradeStation v9.5 using the Elgato Stream Deck? I have a rather large set of hotkeys for trading but don't know how to translate them to the Stream Deck. Their User Manual unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. If you used TradeStation, you know that hotkeys aren't set up the way they are in DAS. DAS is actually more comprehensive and flexible IMO. So, I've created various hotkeys for Buying, Selling, Selling Short, and Covering. Can't do things like "sell 1/4 shares" as you can in DAS. Must calculate in your head what 1/4 shares would be and then sell that amount via the Matrix or Order Bar. So I've opted to just create hotkeys to sell by shares, like Sell 100, Sell 200, etc. Also have hotkeys for selling All shares of course, including a Bailout hotkey when you absolutely must get out of the position. I document my hotkeys in OneNote, then print out for convenience. I'm pretty familiar with the hotkeys, but would like a Stream Deck version to increase physical accuracy and decrease mental load. As you can guess, I have on occasion made a mistake with hotkeys in the heat of the moment. I have the XL version of Stream Deck. It has 32 keys. I envision all Buys and Sells to be on the first screen, and (somehow) have the Shorts and Covers on a second screen. Unfortunately, my hotkeys would take up all 32 keys. I see that there are "multi action" and "multi action switch" keys and wonder whether one could be used to switch between screens, instead of using a folder. Can anybody offer any suggestions on how to start? If someone could show me how to do ONE key, I can probably complete the rest (at least I think so). I envision separating the keys into two sets: one for narrow spreads, and one for wide spreads. With wide spreads it doesn't seem to make sense to Buy at Ask+.05. I'd rather buy at Bid+a couple of cents. I've already tried this setup on TradeStation and it works well. I usually get filled earlier (cheaper price). If anyone has any suggestions or thoughts, please let me know. Thanks, William
  5. Hi everyone! I liked the idea of using Razer keypad for my main trading hotkeys. Norm has one and Carlos was speaking about it as a part of his new setup I remember him said that it solved the problem of mistakenly triggering an order while you typing on your keyboard (Like typing Shift Q ....) I've got me one , then realized that Windows is only seeing it as a part of the main keyboard not as a new set of keys, so you can only assign a key or combination of modifier and key to each button , that mean the possibility of sending order while typing on the main keyboard still there. I couldn't solve this problem in the Razer software itself. I don't know if any other member in our community is using it in a different way. But during my research to solve this problem I found some guys using an additional keyboard (for hotkeys and shortcuts) with a software called HIDMacros which let Windows deal with it as an additional set of keys ( so you'll have the 104 your PC keboard keys + the keypad kays which mean no more in interference, no more order triggering while you moving between chat and platform ) anyone of our community have an insight about this issue pls?!
