  1. I've been using CMEG since I started trading live (2022) and I never traded after the market closed, but, recently, I took a trade at 4:39 PM to see if I could take advantage of the big spike of LYFT. I wasn't able to get in early, so I was chasing it a bit, but it was moving up so quickly, I felt I need to make a go of it. I only took 30 shares -- it was basically a test that, I thought, would not give me a lot of profit or a big loss. I was able to get into the trade easily enough with a MARKET order, but when I tried to sell, DAS wouldn't let me do it. I tried a LIMIT order, then a MARKET order -- several times! I began to panic because the trade that was going in my favor was now changing direction and, all of a sudden, I was down a couple of hundred dollars! I even re-started DAS. I just couldn't get out of the trade! Panic set in. I knew that, if I contacted CMEG by email, they wouldn't get back to me quickly enough. They're not known for fast support. So, I surrendered and accepted the fact that I'd have to wait until the market opened the next morning. I could only hope that I wouldn't get killed. As a side note, the trade became more complicated because a rare situation happened. LYFT apparently miss-reported their earnings (they originally posted a 500 basis points, but someone realized that an extra zero was added by mistake. It was supposed to be 50!) That error caused the stock to soar and then drop precipitously! It wasn't looking good. I was happy to see that the stock made a small gain and that I was only down $150 the next morning. And, CMEG responded to my email. As it turns out, in order to complete the trade after hours, I needed to change the route from MARKET to CMPPST. This is something specific to CMEG, folks. Now, I haven't tested that route, but based on the email, that's the way to make the trade after 4 pm ET. I ended up selling right after the market opened and took a $142.50 loss. As it turned out, if I had held a bit longer, I could have made up another $60/$70, but, honestly, I am okay with the loss. It could have been a lot worse!
  2. I can't find anyone complaining about this issue, but I certainly am (to CMEG). According to the Das user manual, TIF Day is for market hours only while DAY+ covers market plus extended trading hours (i.e., premarket and after hours). That is both logical and how every broker I've ever used applied TIF. But CMEG applies Das TIF as such: Day for premarket and market, Day+ for after hours. That is illogical and wrong. It means needing a duplicate set of hotkeys depending on when you're trading. (What's more, I don't even think CMEG's description of how their TIF works is correct; I use Day+ during regular market hours all the time...and am almost certain I've had to switch to Day to close out a trade AH...it's almost as if they've got the TIFs backwards). Anyway, I'm trying to get CMEG to contact Das and fix this problem. Just wanted to let anyone else know who's as frustrated as I.
  3. If you have enough capital to pass the PDT rule is CMEG still a potential choice as a broker due to their 6:1 leverage? Would like to hear anyone's thoughts and experience on this. Would you stay state side with a more secure broker (IB) at 2:1 leverage or have more buying power with a broker like CMEG?
  4. Hola BBT!
  5. Updated Jun 18 , 2020 To operate with Stocks any Price with profit 10% far from Ask or Bid For example for a $AMD Long Position actual Ask 54.20 ..... The Low range is where you double click in chart and The Hi price is ASK + 10% ASK , would be 54.70 For $ROKU Long Position actual Ask Hi would be $121 if Actual ASK is $120 For Long previous entries ..... (1) Stop Range Click to Ask * 10% +Ask Low range click in chart or price in montage and High price 10% actual ASK finally Montage go back to Market instead STOP route (CMEG) Permit to move range in a trend with great space if go in you favor then you could partial or go out with normal hotkeys (With CXL ALLSYMB to remove the orders pend) CXL ALLSYMB;StopPrice=Price+0;Price=Ask*0.01;Price=Round2;Price=Price+Ask;Share=Pos; Route=Stop;StopType=Range;LowPrice=StopPrice;HighPrice=Price;TIF=DAY;SELL=Send;Route=Market; (2) 50% actiual position , this version permit more than one Stop Range for partials. I retired CXL to avoid erase previous order entry. StopPrice=Price+0;Price=Ask*0.01;Price=Round2;Price=Price+Ask;Share=Pos*.5; Route=Stop;StopType=Range;LowPrice=StopPrice;HighPrice=Price;TIF=DAY;SELL=Send;Route=Market; For Short previous entries ..... (1) Stop Range Click to Bid+Bid CXL ALLSYMB;StopPrice=Price+0;Price=Bid*0.01;Price=Round2;Price=Bid-Price;Share = Pos;Route=Stop;StopType=Range; HighPrice=StopPrice;LowPrice=Price;TIF:DAY;BUY=Send; Route=Market; (2) 50% actiual position , this version permit more than one Stop Range for partials. I retired CXL to avoid erase previous order entry. 6. Hi! Im opening my first trading account in CMEG. When I told them about the BBT promocode they mention something about the routing and I would need some help to understand it; "The commission structure would be $3.95 per ticket for trades of less than 1000 shares ; $0.007 per share for trades more than 1000 shares and when using the LAMPOST route it is $0.004 per share (minimum $0.50) and the ECN fee is $0.0025 per share. Please note that for BearBull Traders clients to take advantage of this offering they would need to apply their group promo code, as well as use the SMART/LAMPOST route. This offer is not available without the use of the group promo code and it is only available for the SMART/LAMPOST route." They also mention a minimum of 1000 shares per trade to apply the discount, is it OK? As a new trader I am not planning to trade as many shares per trade. Many thanks for your help. Regards
  7. Hi All, When I decided to go live, I went with CMEG due to its low commission and no PDT rule as many of you may have. We went back and forth, set up my account and as soon as I wired my initial funds I had absolutely no reply. Its been over two months now and nothing is happening. I am so frustrated because with this. Check out this email chain. And despite more than 10 attempts I have no reply. I am now trying to close my account....and still no reply. What the HECK.
  8. Hello all, as many of you may or may not have realized, CMEG has decided to place a significant increase on their ECN fees. It's come to a point where I'm paying double the amount of commissions in ECN fees and I'm becoming pretty frustrated with it. I emailed back and forth with CMEG to try and negotiate a new fee structure as some of you suggested but they continue to tell me that I should speak with the broker/clearing firm for my account and I'm unsure who that is or where to find them. I think it may be Interactive Brokers but they are just one firm on a whole list of clearing firms they retain. If anyone could help by pointing us in the right direction, or maybe even just sharing your story, then maybe myself and a few others could benefit from it.
