Since my last recap which was March of last year, I spent most of the spring and summer of 2019 trading CFD’s instead of stocks. That went terribly and I lost several thousand dollars while blowing up a few accounts. I would watch the pre market show here but then switch to the chat room of the other place I was trading the CFDs through. I would do well when I traded the stocks we talked about with Carlos and Norm. When I got pulled into the trades this other “Guru” was trading, I would lose big. When I blew up my last CFD account in October I decided my next attempt would be to get a real broker, and slowly make enough profits to buy a lifetime membership here so I could be in the chat with BBT members. I started trading in sims again in January. I also decided to become a lifetime member BEFORE I opened a real account. I just wish there would have been a holiday sale on the installment plan. Still worth the price IMO. Now I have a funded CMEG account and am excited about this promising reboot. Next week sometime, I will step back into the live world of trading. Over the weekend I will find some time to post in this thread what my goals are and what steps I need to take to reach those goals.

Funds already showing in my CMEG account, only took about 24 hours. Now I still have to wait for them to activate my DAS platform.

Yeah, I called technical support and he then transferred me to a rep. Maybe that’s why the rep answered because it was a transfer and not a direct call.

I can not log into my account management page (Not DAS, my actual CMEG account) on my apple products. It works fine on my windows laptop. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? Maybe I have a Safari setting that keeps blocking it? It continually tells me the CAPTCHA was entered wrong. I know I am entering it correctly. I've tried 50 times. CMEG support did not have an answer since it works on windows but not safari. Thanks Bobby N

Being new, I have decided to use the "No Trading in the First 5 Minute" rule. I look for 5-Min Orbs to play. This morning my pre-market plan on one stock was TWTR>37.00. If you were watching TWTR, that obviously didn't give me an opportunity if I wanted to follow my rules. It ended up being nearly a 2 point move, that I wasn't a part of. I am proud that I stayed disciplined, but it doesn't change the sting of a missed trade. I keep telling myself the decision I made this morning was better for my longevity in trading. I hope I can continue this discipline when I move to a live account next week. What did/do you do to keep disciplined in that first 5 minutes? I have found that literally sitting on my hands has worked so far, I put my hands under my legs and just watch that first 5 minute candle form. @Carlos M. do you have tips for waiting 5 minutes?

@Fayaaz R I read earlier today the you have 30 days to fund your account, is yours already funded. And here is a pic explaining when fees are deducted.

I believe they take it from your account with them, but I am not 100% sure. I’m just starting with them.

Is there a study on DaS or one we could add to get the pre market high low like this study does for ToS? I used it on ToS and loved it.

So can you tell if it’s delayed today? My free sim ran out so I can’t use DaS to check.

Should be getting close. I’m up to 22 documents uploaded. I guess being self employed makes the proof of income a bit more stringent.

I’m waiting on account approval from CMEG, one thing I haven’t found info on is how withdrawals work. Do you get one per month? As many as you want? Thanks

That looks NICE! Does it come preloaded with the scripts or do you have to enter all of it?

I just sent them an email directly to clientservices and received a generic response about them having high volume and would get to my email as soon as possible. Did you get one of these responses from your first email?

I’m going to invest in the lifetime membership here at BBT, I am also going to be opening an account with an offshore broker. I’m starting with 5k, so that’s really my only option (PDT rule) Does DAS simulator come with my brokerage account? (I’m looking at CMEG) I don’t want to buy the lifetime package with the 3 month DAS if that is included with my brokerage account. I’ve searched here for other opinions on brokers for small accounts, but there aren’t many recent posts about them. Is everyone still happy with CMEG, are there other options members are using that I should check out, are the BBT rates still available with CMEG? Thanks BobbyN

For anyone wondering, it worked. So now when I take my partial, it cancels my previous stop loss order. Then I set my new stop loss at break even with my HotKey for that. I guess I could actually integrate my break even stop loss order at the end of my partial order to make it a one keystroke move. Can HotKey scripts handle that much?

Can I put CXL ALL infant of my hotkey commands to cancel the stops I have in place when taking a partial? Example: I have 1000 shares with stop loss order in place 0.10 below my average purchase price. I take a partial at 0.30 above my entry. But my old stop is still in my orders. If I put CXL ALL in front of my current partial HotKey, will it do what I'm hoping? Do I put it before ROUTE (CXL ALL;ROUTE......)?
