-1r. Today was the day with so much of opportunities, still I din't make use of it.

    Watchlist: $TGT, $LOW, $KSS, $PDD. $CGC. I liked my watchlist today.

    2019-11-23_Premarket.thumb.png.0a691f66130902baaf951130bfcc725b.png

Trade1: $TGT. Strong earnings, increased sales in digital channels, gapped up. All reason to be biased for long, I was looking for Fallen angel setup. Got one too, but my kid bothered me so much about something that I had to get out of position. Can't avoid it. Got back in again, after bounce of HOD for TT.

    1002294152_2019-11-20_TGT_2_Trades.thumb.png.39d67cd53546481cc0b41db363f87fd0.png

Trade2: $LOW. Long after bounce off premarket high, added (not a good add) and got stopped out. 920080558_2019-11-20_LOW_ORB_fail.png.37032526a5028f9b7d146d1bc5f003ae.png

Trade 3: $PDD. Sold off 25% at the open, due to bad earnings, China trade news and HK news. Triple catalyst, I was so biased to take short. All I managed was BE trade. It sold off so much that the pullback (profit taking) was 4$ to $35, when it started reversing again.

    747593359_2019-11-20_PDD_Trades.thumb.png.62c48ee7ab43834ca5cfcae2179ea750.png

Good: Good premarket plan and mostly good execution.

Improvement: should have played $PDD better, could have been my 1 and done day.

    Overall disappointing day.

    +1r.

Watchlist: $HD, $KHC, $KSS, $MDCO. $HD had mixed earnings, $KSS had poor earnings (was short biased)

    Trade1: $KSS. 3 trades on KSS today. 2 winners and 2 losers.

     478620329_2019-11-19_KSS_Open_Trades.thumb.png.9fb644b2c579b5da52d1e321cc17a29d.png

Trade 2: $MDCO gapped up on rumor acquisition. was looking for rising devil, got stopped out (would have been nice 3bar setup on the downside, although i din't like the lower wick). Next took short at VWAP pullback got out at 50MA on 5min.

    590204498_2019-11-19_MDCO_Choppy_no_Trend.thumb.png.b625914749489bcdde4bc9001c4de8af.png

Good: Didn't overtrade. Got out cutting my losses short.

Improvement: Take a backseat, when the price action is choppy.

Overall mixed day. Good thing I endedup slight green.

+9r.  Traded $AMRN and $YNDX and hit them both.

    Watchlist: $AMRN, $YNDX, $KHC, $CGC

Trade1: $YNDX. Gapped up. 3Bar play on 5min on a Harmonious chart. Took twice the risk as the setup is A+. 25% off first partial, 50% off on 2nd (just above big ask at $40), 15% on 3rd and 10% on Final (on a 30min low).

     1747885050_YNDX_3Bar_Play_harmonious_chart.thumb.png.1b20bfb6c3da8aed894d40ddbeb4cbf5.png

Trade 2: $YNDX. Took long mid day, on the bounce from HOD. 6r profit target, got stopped out below 50MA. $YNDX was not trading clean after this.

    1202256650_2019-11-19_YNDX_Failed_at_HOD_bounce_6R_trade.thumb.png.9446ed27815540b1ff96d897f669b852.png

Trade3: $AMRN. 30min ORBD on $AMRN. price couldn't break thru PCL. Held longer than usual. Took another entry for 2:1 AON on the pullback.

     839960444_AMRN_30min_ORBreakout_.thumb.png.6b2944249109657d472dd463272e6856.png

Good: Clean trading today. Held for longer moves and no overtrading. Increased risk on A+ setup. One of my best trading days, as my trading was clean and got 9r.

Improvement: Think about adjusting sharesize for 1st partial. Currently it ranges between 25% to 50% for 2r move.

Overall, very happy with my trading today. Hoping to have more such days.

    +3r. Another good day.

Watchlist. $WMT, $CGC, $CSCO, $QGEN, $KHC. I liked $CGC (Harmonious and ATL) and $WMT (Harmonious and ATH). $KHC was downgraded, downgraded stocks always tend to go down (defintive move).

    2019-11-14_Premarket.thumb.png.d9fa66a2b7497ae4e77268812194eec7.png

Trade1: $CGC. Poor earnings and at ATL. At the open it couldn't touch VWAP, very weak. I took short on the Rising devil setup. suddenly there was spike on the upside and so I got out most of my position. partialed at 5min low. last part was 20% that I kept to exit at $15.1, but got stopped out breakeven.

     1177101655_2019-11-14_CGC_Rising_Devil_001.png.0412c07fe308675aeeff96522094dd1e.png

Trade 2: $KHC. I was watching to get short on $KHC, at the open it struggled for the move, later at 10AM, it made the move. I felt FOMO, but didn't chase it. Later in the day, noted the stock trying to break the level $31.6 mutliple times, when it broke and offered a pullback I took short and partialed at daily level. This is my favorite trade of the day.
    452314046_2019-11-14_KHC_1min.thumb.png.cb348451d91fb7709943e471ffd596f4.png

    2050202298_2019-11-14_KHC.thumb.png.c879efff5d42bf938aa6159f62498399.png

Trade3: $CGC. was selling off most of the day, finally reversed and broke VWAP. I waited for the bounce off VWAP before taking long. All or Nothing trade at 2R. worked out fine.

    558645137_2019-11-14_CGC_2R_All_or_Nothing.png.16e6a4994ab9b43d7eaa3a6a1291e3ba.png

Good: I felt FOMO in the morning after missing couple of good moves. But didn't chase them.

Improvement: $CGC at the open could have been my one and done. I messed it up a bit somehow.

    Overall OK day.

-3r. Today I addressed one of my key issues (which I will journal as part of Oct month summary soon). When I reach my daily goal, I quit trading for the day. I don't give any money back. But when I hit maxloss, I tend to overtrade (always a temptation to take one more setup, which looks sooo good). Today I overcame this, the moment I hit -3r, I stopped trading.

    Watchlist: $LK, $DXC, $GOOS, $TSLA

    2019-11-13_Premarket.thumb.png.3b62960db42fc2ad3d279f3a0ed4d107.png

Trade1: $LK. Strong earnings, gapped up. Long bias. At the open stock sold off. I took long after the 5min put new HL. Got stopped out twice. 2109359928_2019-11-13_LK_2_failed_trades.png.c226c58fdc89f781709df220312fd5e6.png

Trade2: $GOOS. Strong Earnings. Before the open stock went from Green to Red. Started selling off huge after the open. I took a DB reversal, added after confirmation of hammer, but got stopped out.

    754283082_2019-11-13_GOOS_DB_failed_reversal.thumb.png.399052553c77d5f07b8cf376fefffe01.png

Good: Today is a test of character for me to stick to my rules, when things don't go well. In the past, after the maxloss, I see some good patterns and take more trades. I made profit, but I overtraded. Today, I hope I turned a corner. Irrespective of what caused the max loss (Choppy Market, slippage, Hotkey mistake, right idea/wrong time or whatever other excuses there are) the rule is to Stop trading after maxloss. And I did that.

It may be difficult to understand, but I am happier with my trading today.

  6. Dumb question. Do you not have the saved DAS layout? Usually you have a copy under c:/DAStraderPRO/default.dsk (or under a diff name). Unless your folder is totally corrupted and you are reinstalling DAS, the file *.dsk should be there. I have like 30 layouts under this (created at diff times) for diff purposes.

    +3.5r.

    Watchlist: $DIS, $TSN, $DXC, $AMRN, $CRON.

Trade1: $DIS. $DIS was the best in premarket, Gappedup. Looking strong with big Asks on L2. But at the open, it dumped almost 2$ and burnt everyone who was long. I waited and entered after the Doublebottom which also coincided with 200MA on 5min. Partials above VWAP and MA. Added 2 times. First one worked, 2nd one didn't so got stopped out at BE. Without the 2nd add, I would have got another 1$ move. Still my Trade of the day.

    1592648305_2019-11-12_DIS.thumb.png.370b828711e267497db797cff00d814c.png

    599588079_2019-11-12_DIS_5min.png.14c3e2b306332ff51d82aab095dd3657.png

Trade2: $AMRN: $AMRN gapped up on Earnings, strong at the open and was trending after bounce off VWAP. Once I was back in the afternoon, I saw $AMRN was close to HOD with huge layered Asks on L2. Took long close to 20MA, couple of others were also Long. Took partial at HOD, target was 20.96, it never got there and stopped me out for the last partial. I could have taken another partial at 3r (20.8).

    1365234801_2019-11-12_AMRN_TT.thumb.png.a6e0828487538c922aa97f6329d8c11d.png

Good: Like yesterday, took one Doublebottom and one TT today also. Worked out fine.

Improvment: My 2nd add on $DIS was ok, but may be I need to wait for the breakout to the wick for confirmation.

Overall I am happy about the trading today.

+2.5r. Didn't complete my premarket routine. Had only 4 hrs sleep last night. So din't trade the open or prenoon today. Took one trade on $AMD at noon.

Trade 1: $AMD. $AMD was bullish and trending up although gapped down at the open. $36.2 was a key level which acted as both resistence (multiple times) and support. I took it long after the bounce off this level. Took partials at daily levels. Final partial at 36.55, after lot of L2 actions at 36.5 level.

    Skipped rest of the session.

    784704460_2019-11-11_AMD_TT.thumb.png.fbb775c75bf52ffae2445168e2443073.png

Good: Traded $AMD only after completing my premarket routine (that I have implemented to bring more discipline into my trading)

Overall, happy with my trading today.

Green day. +1r. I had 2 good setups, both after taking partials stopped me out. Could have been...

    Watchlist: $DIS, $TDC, $WKHS, $BIDU, $QCOM.

    2019-11-8_Premarket.thumb.png.b23597ce05b2c5d0775b49d575660ec6.png

Trade1: $ROKU. 3Bar play setup on 2min.  After partial at daily level, didn't have the juice to popup higher, got the last partial out at BE.

    20154536_2019-11-08_ROKU_ORB_3C.png.d646c3ec1d11af00d592cc0901391961.png

Trade2: $DIS. $DIS had strong earnings. I was long biased. Once $DIS formed double bottom, took it long. one partial out at 50MA(1min) then got stopped out at BE.

$DIS had been bearish thru the day, so my trade ended up as Fading trade.

    1119193201_2019-11-08_DIS_DoubleBottom_Reversal.thumb.png.9ba67c1158498b10dc3fce408b6af5ae.png

    Trade 3: $BIDU. Failed MA bounce, 50MA on 1min.

Good: Two good setup, but both didn't work out for full r.

Improvement: I am not using Kyle's hotkey always, sometimes I endup with less shares when I hardcode in the #of shares (like $DIS), so ended up the risk of 0.5r only. Also MA bounce setup isn't working out recently, most cases failed, need to optimize this or skip it for sometime.

Overall happy about the trading today, although the daily goal doesn't reflect that.

  10. On 11/8/2019 at 3:32 AM, Mike B said:

The calculation of risking 1% of $5000 a day was $51 to make 2R or $102. Since, I am willing to take 3 trades within the day, my risk per trade is now $17 per trade. This has done wonders for my equity curve and even allowed me to survive a huge draw down when I introduced a new strategy in September.

I recommend figuring out the math on what  you are comfortable losing in a day and than figure out what to $risk per trade, so when everything goes wrong, you still are within your risk tolerance at the end of the day.

My risk management plan is pretty similar too. Keeping the risk as a % of Capital is a good method. When the capital grows, the risk automatically increases (without the need to change 1%).

    +4r. Today, I traded only $QCOM.

Watchlist: $QCOM, $BIDU, $SQ, $ROKU. I liked $QCOM very much esp it being close to ATH.

Trade 1: $QCOM. Premarket trade. I took it at the open, as the Earnings was strong for $QCOM and looked very positive. Got a partial and left the rest to exit after the close. AT the open, $QCOM stopped me to the penny before going strong.

Trade2: $QCOM. I took long again after price bounced off premarket low. Share size was huge (by mistake) and resulted in 3 times my regular risk size, so I got out quickly near VWAP. This is my trade of the day, because I got out immediately after realizing I was in it more than my risk.

Trade3: $QCOM. 89.9 was premarket high. once the stock bounced off this level, took it long and got out at $91. I am happy with the trade.

    637919225_2019-11-07_QCOM_Premarket_and_Fallen_Angel.thumb.png.e674bc7fb5c74450516c5c00ab883a27.png

Trade 4: $QCOM. Mid day, took reversal on $QCOM at $90 price level. After struggle for 15 mins, price popped on the upside and got me 2r. Price actually touched my stop, but din't fill me. This time, I was lucky.

    946125811_2019-11-08_QCOM_reversal.thumb.png.c5cec63cd7bfb2afa0e4c053d8173dec.png

Good: Just focused on one stock from Premarket to close,  it helped. Good trade management.

Improvement: Sometimes I keep very small stoploss for e.g $QCOM trade at the open (last trade). I get stopped out and then the stocks move much high, trending. Missed opportunities.

Overall I am happy with the trading today. Luck ditched me at the open, but I got it back on the reversal trade.

P.S: $BIDU looks much better than other 3 for followup trading tomorrow.

BE. Took only one trade today on $CVS. Just when it was going my way, China news came and SPY dumped, so I got out voluntarily.

    2019-11-06_Premarket.thumb.png.919f279ba38116fae7eccfe06c5e8f2c.png

    Watchlist: $CVS, $UBER, $MTCH

Trade 1: $CVS. gapped up on good news. Opened strong too. I noticed it bounced off VWAP and trying to break the level 70.56 multiple times, Took it long once it broke the level, it put up 2 strong green candles. Then the news about China came and SPY dumped. Fearing $CVS would dump too, I got out. Sure enough, I would have got stoped out. so a BE trade.

Red day. -3r. One good trade on $BABA and one mistake on range order (causing 2 losing trades). One trade on $RACE, my fav Red team 🙂, where I lost too.

    Watchlist: $UAA, $BABA, $MCD, $RACE.

    2019-11-04_Premarket.thumb.png.7b16ba62b9a4522c53c7ad487f56ff9c.png

Trade 1: $UAA. I thought $UAA would be a great Rising devil setup (and not $MCD), but it was $MCD that was very good at the open. $UAA, I took rising devil setup (very small size scaling in). Wanted to get out, but it created a range order. I deleted the wrong range order, so I got 2 losers.

    2094595975_2019-11-04_UAA_Rising_Devil_Failed..thumb.png.691f21e4e9b1bb4d57ebd3cf582c06d0.png

Trade2: $BABA. Created a nice hammer (with looong wick) on the 5min, took it long above all resistence on 1min, got out at a daily level.

    211529604_2019-11-04_BABA_ORB.thumb.png.8fa577c72351e9f7bd8f1a3a891ea92e.png

Trade3: $RACE. Gapped up on Earnings. Harmonious and at ATH. I took bounce off 50MA (1min) for TT, but noticed it had formed a Double top, got out.

    916697326_2019-11-04_RACE.thumb.png.267d0388fe106a8d9fafb4ea7de6b2eb.png

Trade 4: $ROKU. $ROKU dumped all morning, I came back at noon to check the stocks. $ROKU was forming triple bottom. I took Long and got out for 2R as $ROKU was trading weird.

    2022514637_2019-11-04_ROKU_Reversal.thumb.png.3cec9d22e643021c59271761aaa15614.png

Good: Didn't overtrade. Good trade on $BABA (my trade of the day) and $ROKU.

Improvement: I couldn't have avoided the mistake on $UAA. It happens. I just moved on to other stocks.

Overall, it was Ok day. I ended up red for the day, but liked my 2 trades. I also traded $RACE (Ferrari) just for fun (like I traded $AMZN on earnings few days back - 1 share)

Green day. +2r. Its a local holiday so keeping it light today. Also, after a bad day, the next day is usually worse for me. So didn't sit thru all the trading sessions.

Trade 1: $PINS. 30min after the open, noted $PINS forming higher low. Missed the entry a bit. But caught it after the bounce off VWAP. Got out at 200MA 1min. $PINS traded strong thruout the day.

    1575176729_2019-11-01_PINS_Triple_bottom.thumb.png.ecc107060e44d50403172103b8db2e6c.png

Trade2: $X was strong at the open, at HOD and consolidated at $13.4, Breakout trade failed.

Trade 3: $NWL AON trade for 2R. Gapped up on daily and very strong today. Potential for lot of pullbacks and some fakeouts.

    1588355480_2019-11-01_NWL_2R_AON.thumb.png.1b90c18611773e28efcff564440fd425.png

Good: Liked my trade on $NWL & $PINS. Didn't overtrade today.

    Overall Good trading day.

  15. BBT Anniversary and October Month  Summary.

Although this is supposed to be a monthly summary, I have also completed my 1 year with BBT, so I want to share my experience overall. (BTW, do the members get anniversary wishes from Andrew/BBT 🤔)

First off, thank you @Andrew Aziz and @Brian Pez for putting together such a wonderful community. If joining a Trading community was a trade, I hit a A+ setup by joining BBT. I could have lost my valuable time and money elsewhere, lucky I found BBT. The moderator team is awesome, I sorely miss @Robert H and @WilliamH 2 guys from whom I learnt the most, in this community.

    Experience

I can split my Trading journey in the last 1 year into 3 phases , and this is something I would recommend to the new traders too.

    1. Simulator - I spent about 6months in Simulator. This was more to get used to the DAS platform, trying out few setups explained in Andrew's book and elsewhere. Get connected to moderators and other members in the community, observe and learn from them. More importantly learn how to do the routine independently and how to Journal and review.

    2. Limited Live - It's very easy to be successful in SIM, but fail miserably while trading Live, and lose the capital early in the game. It's important to get a feel of how trading live is and learn to control the emotions. Set goals and stick to them. So, I went live under PDT (only 3 trades allowed in 5days) in Apr'19. That's when I started journalling in this forum. Now, this community is awesome not only because of the moderators but because of the members who are willing to share feedback and be helpful. After I created my trading plan, @Marek Liyanageand couple of other guys proactively reached out to me and passed on their feedback. It's confident boosting, when an experienced trader concurs your plan.

    3. Fully Live - It's very important to know when you are ready to go fully live. For me, I took the Besttrader challenge #1 to evaluate my readiness. I was the winner of DAS besttrader challenge #1 under stock instument. I stuck to my rules and executed my plans almost perfectly for one month. So I went fully live in July'19 after 3 months of limited Live.

Once I lifted PDT in July, I enjoyed the freedom to take unlimited trades. As much as it is thrilling to take trades (and lots of it), sometimes I forget the ultimate goal in Trading is to make money. And if it comes from one trade then I should be happy about it. Based on 1 year experience, I have evaluated what my strong points are and my improvement areas are and how I am planning to address them. For me it helps to write down my plan and publish it in the forum. It's a commitment. I hope it helps someone else too.

    My Strong points:

Trading is the best job in the world. Market is the boss and She treats everyone equal (from a Novice trader to the best minds in the trading world). The harder I work, the more I will get from the Market.

    • I always respect my STOP loss.
    • Usually my Entries are very good. I don't chase stocks.
    • I don't Average into my losing position
    • I stop trading after reaching my Daily goal (or close to it)
    • I manage only one trade at a time (unless I have a range order to cover my other trade).
    • I don't Revenge trade when I take a loss on a proper setup - I move to next stock immediately to avoid Revenge trading
    • I trade 8-9 setups successfully and I can find setups thruout the day.
    • I work on my own Premarket watch list, and hop on to the chatroom to see if any obvious misses.
    • My premarket list and my game plan for each of the stocks is mostly very good and accurate.
    • Recently I have started taking more risk on my A+ setup
    • I don't follow anyone to enter into a Trade, unless I am convinced of the setup.
    • I have started trading off higher timeframes (30/60min) in the last couple of months
    • I am learning everyday and I am happy and eager to learn more

If I was to begin my journey again, one thing I would have done differently is to focus more on L2 in Simulator itself. Andrew introduced it, Kurt taught in greater detail about L2 in one of his sessions. That was eye opening. It takes time to learn and trade off L2.

    My Improvement areas:

WIP, will include it as working on a detailed list.

Red day. -9r. Today, I was not planning to trade, probably that's why I incurred losses, I was underprepared (ie. I had not finalized my watchlist, didn't mute the chatroom, havn't played the music, hadn't started OBS yet).

    Watchlist: $FB, $AAPL, $LYFT, $W.

Trade: $W. $W had gapped down 16% on bad earnings and still selling before the open. But it had Short ratio of over 25%, so I thought it may squeeze sometime.

At the open, $W was strong, but soon sold off, I waited for the pullback after big red engulfing candle, got stopped out. I got better entry close to VWAP, still stopped out. Last one worked fine, but didn't dump as I expected. It formed double bottom and I got out for small profit.

Trade: $KHC. I had a range order set for profit, I got missed by 4c (for 3r) and stopped out (-1r).

    Improvement:

    • $W had bad spread mostly 5-10c, but sometimes upto 50c. This lead to being in a losing position imm after entering a trade.
    • today my share sizing was bad leading to more than my max loss.
    • I must stick to Risingdevil or PBBE/3C setup at the open and not trade any other forms in November. These 2 are mostly accurate and my A+ setups.

    Overall, I was frustrated today.

    Green day, +4r.

    Watchlist: $AMD, $TWTR, $GE & $TUP

    2019-10-30_Premarket.thumb.png.08988076fffa0e3b6553df1e351d4f31.png

    Trade 1: $TUP - Rising Devil setup.

$TUP earnings just before the open. Dumping and setting up for Rising devil. It was Harmonious and at ATL, my A+ setup. Very volatile at the open, but stayed in the trade, trusting the setup. partialed out quickly, as i added twice and had big share size.

    745769224_2019-10-30_TUP_RisingDevil.thumb.png.90fa916f1706e2d004c6a0fcf8f2feb4.png

    Trade 2: $AMD - Premarket

$AMD earnings yesterday after close. Guidance was bad and so lost 2.5% and gapped down this morning. Took a short premarket and closed it for 1.5r.

    • $AMD - was stuck between $32.3 and PCL whole day, I didn't get the breakout from either of these levels. Choppy.
    • $TWTR - Another red day for $TWTR. it moved within 25c (29.75 and 30$) whole day.
    • $GE - Traded well, bounced off the level 9.7 and moved 70c (that's a lot for $GE). Was late on the PB-BE setup on the 15min. small risk, big reward.
    • $TUP - Glad I stuck to $TUP today, other stocks in my watchlist didn't move as much.

    Good:

    • No Overtrading only 2 trades. I am more happy about this than the daily goal today. I was able to stick to my rule about not overtrading.
    • on $TUP, trusted the setup although stock was wicky at the open and about to stop me out. Added at the right places.

Overall I am happy about the trades today.

Green day. +3r. Due to the Daylight savings, I had some issues at the open with the DAS charts. So couldn't take any trades at the open. But after few of mins, all was fine.

    Watchlist: $T, $INTC, $AMD, $SPOT and $WBA, $PDD, $XNET. Liked $SPOT very much.

    2019-10-28_Premarket.thumb.png.d2a6ffc5df3689b526073deadfcf361e.png

Trades Premarket: I took Premarket trades on $T and $SPOT. Half share size with smallest risk. was up 0.5r.

Trade 1: $INTC. 5min ORB. Got in Long after the hammer on 5min and the next candle broke the body and the resistence above. got stopped out.

Trade $T: $T was on earnings and i traded premarket too. ATR is too low, so not much trend.

Trade $SPOT: I liked $SPOT today. Gapped up on Earnings, positive on Rev,Earnings. gapped up arnd 10%. I expected a Trend trade, once it broke the level of 130. Spread was very bad. Took 3 trades.

Trade $XNET: most traded today. I found it to be choppy and wicky. I took a VWAP pullback short. It worked.

Trade $PCG: traded off higher timeframes, long at low of the candle, sell at high of the candle.

I was up 4r now. I should have stopped. but took few more trades and ended up at 3r and some more commission for IB.

Good: I am looking to lock in profits and cut down the Stoploss, where possible. Lets see how that works out.

Improvement: Bit of over trading today.

I am almost at my 1 year trading live anniversary. Time to evaluate if it is worth continuing this journey. I was in SIM for 6 months, so I have been trying to learn day trading for 18 months. I always planned to access my progress and evaluate if I should continue at my 1 year live anniversary. It has been quite costly in time, so it is a serious consideration. Though I feel like progress has been made in my trading I don’t see any change in profitability, so it is not an easy decision. But with some reflection, this week, I realized it is better to look at this more holistically.

The change in my personality (for the better) has been dramatic. I would even say transforming. Especially, the last few months. I see improvements constantly and I would not want that to stop. Waking up at 5am and forcing yourself to face your fears, endure stress and muster the strength to make changes in yourself to improve creates dramatic results.

Congratulations Rob on your Trading Anniversary! What matters most is if one survives thru the learning curve of initial 1 year trading in the Live market. You have held it together and you have done it successfully. (I am so looking forward to mine).

Very well written summary, especially on the piece about how trading changed your personality for better. I sometimes feel the same way. Trading is making me a bit more disciplined (I am not very disciplined, I don't stick to my routines always as I find them boring).  Also, learning the way we accept losses to the market, there are things that are not in our control in life. Just accept them and move on.  I think as the personality improves, the trading gets better and when the trading gets better the personality improves too. I feel, they just feed on each other and grow.

    Green Day. +4r.

Watchlist: $INTC, $PCG, $PDD, $MU and $TWTR(2nd day earnings). I really liked my watchlist today.

    2019-10-25_Premarket.thumb.png.5139dad8a1210f964921617179f24f1c.png

Trade 1: $INTC. Missed the Entry due to a distraction at the open. Waited for the 5min ORB, got in and chickened out, because the risk was too high. Entry at 3rd 5min candle would have been better because now the Risk is smaller (low of 2nd 5min candle) . I also traded couple more trades which were green.

    1217042398_2019-10-25_INTC_Trades.thumb.png.4a0391373bb76219f82277df0288634a.png

Trade: $PCG. $PCG was on my mainlist. I thought about an entry at 6.46$ premarket before deciding against it. It dropped to 5$ even before the open. Bit of a FOMO here. Anyway, I took short at VWAP pullback, and put a range order. Because I was in another trade on $TWTR, I didn't monitor $PCG and got stopped out.

    200849952_2019-10-25_PCG_Short_Missed_to_take_profit.thumb.png.1fa5d346aa2f4c1ac558ff295c61f1c2.png

Trade:$TWTR. $TWTR was 2nd day Earnings Play. I had a level of $30.5 which was Yesterday''s low. My thought was if it breaks this level, then it was going to dump today. But the consolidation at this level $30.5 was missing so, it didn't move much. $TWTR was on SSR.S and it was difficult to get a fill.

    548428402_2019-10-25_TWTR_Poor_Add_TT.thumb.png.9c904c4026374cba42919eff511133cf.png

Trade:$TWTR: Also, Took a reversal off $TWTR (Double bottom) to VWAP, that worked out nicely.

    1841123910_2019-10-25_TWTR_trades.thumb.png.59df6aa5e2a466e7e5b3f3f7b1e075a1.png

Trade:$TWTR: Near the close I saw the Price action pulling to VWAP. Stock looked weaker on 30 and 60mins. Took a small share size and AON exit. It was trade of the day. 1707628440_2019-10-25_TWTR_VWAP_trade.thumb.png.3760048b33d83dad2234f274cfb535e2.png

Good: I ended my day +ve, despite missing couple of one and done opportunities in $PCG and $TWTR. Also swinged 1 trade of $AMZN from yesterday. Each one of my premarket watchlist played out accordingly to my game plan. will make most out of it next time.

Improvement: Some repeated small mistakes that I need to eliminate in position sizing and partial. Also missed the doji hammer double bottom for 2nd consecutive day.

Redday. -2r. I was up 2r, traded the earnings and ended up at -2r. I also overtraded a bit.

    Watchlist: $EBAY, $TWTR, $AMAT, $TSLA.

Trades : $TWTR. Was down 20%, but I am still looking for reversal setups instead of going with the trend. I took 3 failed reversals, before actually one worked.

    1239473103_2019-10-24_TWTR_No_reversal_on_a_Trending_stock.thumb.png.2952896df095013c34c70b8b117f892c.png

Trades: $MU. Double TOP reversal. AON exit.

    2063891235_2019-10-24_MU_DT_reversal_Nice_exit.thumb.png.003cdc31081e8a01a2a10540e9563ab7.png

    Good:

Improvement: When a stock is trending, I look for reversals. The risk of taking reversal is more than risk of going with the trend. I have a habit of not chasing stocks, so I end up looking for reversals, sometimes too soon.
