How to "Fix" Think-or-Swim Bookmap Config:
**Note, this resets your bookmap configuration to default and you will have to completely reconfigure it in Think or Swim afterwards.

1) Close Think-or-Swim if it is open. SIDE NOTE: If you have a lot of detached Bookmap windows in ToS, you may want to load it up, and close all of those leaving just the main Bookmap display, then close it.
2) Navigate to your ToS install directory, by default this is: C:\Program Files\thinkorswim\ 
3) Go into the \book_map\settings folder.
4) Find the "bookmap_config_v7.json" (I imagine when they go to v8, it'll be _v8.json) and rename it to "bookmap_config_v7.json.bak" (or whatever you choose).
5) Relaunch Think-or-Swim and load the Bookmap Window --> Once it loads the default config, set up all your configuration as you see fit (remember to do *all* of it, all panels, columns, indicators, and miscellaneous settings you may want to change in Bookmap. Be thorough.).
6) Close down Think or Swim .. it will now save a new .json file to the settings folder.
7) Relaunch Think or Swim, and now any new symbol you load into Bookmap should use that initial setup you just did. Just remember that if you change a setting later down the road, it'll only show up as changed on the particular SYMB you changed it on, there doesn't appear to be a way to "Set As Default" or "Load Default" configs in the ToS version of Bookmap.

This should work with any broker.

Usage:
1) Double-click where you want your STOP to be if the HOD entry is triggered.
2) Fire hotkey script.
3) It'll calculate your share total based on the HoD price (for the ticker) + 0.01 value and your dbl-clicked stop location using $40 risk as set.
4) It sets a pending STOP order to OPEN a position on the LONG side if the HoD + 0.01 value is hit. Sets a TriggerOrder in the system to create a STOP exit order upon triggering.
    a) If the above pending order is cancelled without fulfillment, the Trigger Order should be cancelled out as well.
    b) If the above pending order is triggered (price => hod+0.01), the Trigger Order will fire and open a STOP exit based on the risk calculations for $40.

We discussed a few ways to "toggle off" studies - these aren't direct methods, so they have their downsides.

METHOD 1 -> Save / Load Chart Settings:
1) Setup the chart exactly like you want, then right-click the chart -> Save Settings -> Save it to the DAS folder with a name you'll remember, example "TestStudysOn.cst"
2) Now remove the study you want to hide (toggle off), then right-click the chart -> Save Settings -> Save it to the DAS folder with a name you'll remember, example "TestStudysOff.cst"
3) Create a hotkey for "Toggle Study On" (you can name it whatever), with the script:     

LoadSetting TestStudysOn.cst;      

4) Create another hotkey for "Toggle Study Off", with the script:

LoadSetting TestStudysOff.cst;

5) Use those hotkeys with the specific chart selected to toggle the study on/off. Just remember, current zoom won't carry over, and if you alter settings of any studies (or the chart configuration) 
you'll need to remember to update it in both .cst files.

METHOD 2 -> Duplicate The Chart Window, then click to swap between the two (slightly overlap them):

1) Go into the hotkey editor and create a hotkey script for: 

DuplicateWindow;

2) Select the chart and hit that hotkey. It'll spawn an exact duplicate of the window you selected. Now just remove the study you don't want to be active.





AS a side note, remember that if the Pivot Point study is "squishing" the chart view, you can toggle this off by going to the Study Config, selecting the study, hitting the "ConfigEx" 
button below the studies box, and then unchecking "Include in Scale." This is a commmon thing most users don't realize exists.
